Brickdoctor Posted March 11, 2011 Author Posted March 11, 2011 Sorry if I unbalanced the artistic flow, hope it still works out Nah, it's fine. If it looks really bad, I'll exercise my host powers. *flexes muscles* Quote
Eskallon Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Great work so far everyone, and I must say that the stone building and church are really detailed and nice. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted March 13, 2011 Author Posted March 13, 2011 Just sent Brickdoctor my turn, and depending on where he lives in the US. he'll see it in 2-10 hours I should probably explain that.Flare is having technical difficulties and elected to drop out, so BasOne took over as Reserve #1. Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Hey BrickDocter! I was wondering if I could have a spot on the next LDD RCB for actually building the model or do I have to sign up right when it is posted on EB? Quote

I was wondering if I could have a spot on the next LDD RCB for actually building the model or do I have to sign up right when it is posted on EB? You have to wait for sign ups to be posted. I'm not sure when the next RCB will take place, although there are some members interested in hosting one, but just keep your eyes peeled. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted March 23, 2011 Author Posted March 23, 2011 Thank you! Just a question, I do not remember BrickMack being ahead of me in the reserves were they really? They should be listed in the order you signed up, with the exception of KDM who requested to let anyone else go first and is Reserve #5. You received a PM from me confirming your participation as a reserve which also includes the number. Quote
Zeya Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 That church looks fantastic! I really like the grayed-out minifigures used for the statues. That trick always gets me. I had to click on the rat in the pew to figure out what he was. I thought he was a penguin at first. The well could have had a play feature: a technic axle that turns to raise/lower the bucket. Quote
alienwar9 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 @ BasOne: You finished that church better than I could ever have imagined! The window, the figures, the roof, all fantastic! And that is why I love these relay builds; the exponential quality of group creation! Quote

BasOne Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 (edited) I had to click on the rat in the pew to figure out what he was. I thought he was a penguin at first. No Church is complete without a Churchrat ;) Oh.... I just noticed... One of the major things i did was widen the street, i noticed the good Doctor narrowed it. As we discussed in private it's important to convey the essence of once interpetation of the build, i thought it would be important to rectevy this. This and my ox cart is heading straight for the church and it's meant to go past it, not through it Minor modification, just shifting the baseplates... http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/BasOne/LDD/eb_ldd_rcb2_turn14-2.lxf For me this is a major issue, mwah... ok the whole narrowness of the street bugged me I do like to thank the good Doctor and Aanchir for my blooming obvious color mistakes and correcting them Edited March 24, 2011 by BasOne Quote

I had just rotated the church so that the model's entire front side could be seem in the single screenshot, didn't realize that it narrowed the street. (actually, I don't think it did, because there is no other side of the street, but maybe that's just me) Anyways, Burman already finished his submission, so I'll take a look at your file but correct my file. Oh, and I'll see what I can do with the cart. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted April 2, 2011 Author Posted April 2, 2011 HEY! Did you forget about this? Nope. First post is still up to date; I'm giving cambookpro as long as possible to turn in his entry, although he said he probably won't be able to turn it in. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 8, 2011 Author Posted April 8, 2011 (edited) Important: Due to the recent update, the RCB has now moved to LDD 4.1 Extended Mode. If you have not yet built and do not have LE Mode up and running, I suggest you do so ASAP. I can send you a file in LU Mode if you need it, but this build does contain pieces from the 4.1 update and I don't know what will happen if you open it in LDD 4.0. EDIT: Wrong pronoun. Calabar Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I was thinking... as my pc is not able to manage with LDD such big files anymore, is it possible to link a bigger size screenshot of every step? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 11, 2011 Author Posted April 11, 2011 I was thinking... as my pc is not able to manage with LDD such big files anymore, is it possible to link a bigger size screenshot of every step? Sure. I think I can get you some. I'll PM them sometime tomorrow. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted April 21, 2011 Author Posted April 21, 2011 ...and we're done! *cricket* Wow, this thread is quiet. I think this is the first time I've had to make a triple-post during my time on EB. Thanks to everyone who participated, especially Aanchir for color-checking each and every model, Burman for being my co-host, KielDaMan for giving up his spot so some new builders could get in on the fun, and of course, Superkalle for allowing us to do this and helping us organize the build. Couldn't have done it without you guys. Quote
Eskallon Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 That looks great everyone, a big congratulations to us all and a big thankyou to Brickdoctor for running this community project. I will update to the extended mode soon but for now I must say that it looks pretty good in the screenshot, a little odd shape, but still good. Quote
prateek Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Excellent job everyone! I think this one was more successful than the first RCB. Here's to another! Quote
