Sisco Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Oh my God! What is this town coming to? I'd like to help comfort the lifeguard however I can.
Fugazi Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Please Miss... I can't remember your name, but you must tell us who did this to you! Did you see him? How did this happen? I would like to use my shirt to stop the blood loss, if relevant. I would also like to encourage the lifeguard to speak before it's too late.
Bob Posted January 25, 2011 Author Posted January 25, 2011 I would like to use my aiding skills to help the lifeguard in anyway possible. Maxwell takes a handkerchief from his pocket to help stop the bleeding. He puts pressure on the wound. Good god! Lifeguard, what happened? Who did this? One day before the congressman came to town...but then, this Brandon would have been here right now, unless he left too. Congressman, you have serious explaining. What's Project Wolf? First XK2-P, now this? Is our town some kind of testing grounds? "I can't comment on this!" The congressman says. I'd like to use the skills picked up as a father to help as best as I can, be that medical help, or consoling her while she passes on. I'd like to ask if she remembers anything of what happened before she was stabbed. Patrick helps the lifeguard as well. "I...couldn't...see him..." she murmurs. Oh my God! What is this town coming to? I'd like to help comfort the lifeguard however I can. Ralph helps the lifeguard, too. It's at this time that a National Guard Medic arrives. He takes the lifeguard away on a stretcher.
Fugazi Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 This is very bad... I hope she will survive. So there is a secret bunker somewhere in those tunnels. We were so close to the truth. Do I remember anyone in town named Brandon?
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Brenda! No! I must go with her! You've gotta live, honey! You've just gotta. I would like someone to step in and stop me from following the medic because I doubt Bob would let me go.
CMP Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 "I can't comment on this!" The congressman says. Can't as in you don't know what it is, or can't because of some bull reason? Someone died last night, and we have a stabbing! The time for holding back information has passed. What is this!
Fugazi Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Brenda! No! I must go with her! You've gotta live, honey! You've just gotta. I would like someone to step in and stop me from following the medic because I doubt Bob would let me go. I'm stepping in tactfully. James, let her go. They will take good care of her, she is strong and will fight to survive. We need you here with us more than ever, we have little time left to find the enemy. And hem... the name is Jessica.
The Legonater Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I would like to take the cash, and then do whatever I can to help the lifeguard
Admiral Ron Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Mayor, do you have any idea what this note is talking about?
Captain Genaro Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I would like to take the cash, and then do whatever I can to help the lifeguard Whoa there! I think that the cash should be kept with the rest of the evidence! I think that we have another spy running arround here. I can't help but wondering, Mrs. Jefferson fell off of a roof, was the life guard about to suffer the same fate? She was targeted for a reason and I bet the tunnels have something to do with it! I would like to look behind the building to see if I can see a ladder or fire escape that has been recently used.
Fugazi Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I can't help but wondering, Mrs. Jefferson fell off of a roof, was the life guard about to suffer the same fate? Yes, was Mrs Jefferson also part of this secret research facility? Was Alabatha already infiltrated by commies 5 years ago? Possible, possible. I would like to explore the roof looking for anything that could have been left or dropped by the attacker. I would however make sure not to step too close to the edge of the roof or parapet if there is one. I will also take care not to let anyone approach from behind at any time (however dodgy that may sound).
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 You're right, of course, Alan. I'm needed to catch these commies. I'm sure Brenda wants me to. I'd like to know if the knife matches the one that killed Mrs. Jenkins. Also is there any other way off the roof than the way we just came up?
Walter Kovacs Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Mayor, do you have any idea what this note is talking about? I'll do my best to explain what I know. There is a secret facility in this town. Bob admitted as much two day s ago when we first found out about X-K2P (and I had a few choice words for him, too ). I assume that Project Wolf is whatever has been going on in this facility. No clue what that is, and I doubt Bob is going to tell us, or let us find out anytime soon. But I do have a good guess where it is. Since Bob will no longer let us near the tunnels, and he specifically told us the hospital was off limits, and the tunnels basically run under the Hospital, I'd bet dollars to donuts that the Hospital is where this facility and Project Wolf reside. Oh, it also sounds like the commies are after Project Wolf, so going to this facility might not be the best option right now. Close to the mark, Bob? Meanwhile, i'm going to look around the roof and see if anything looks like it doesn't belong, aside from Brenda's blood that is.
iamded Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I will also examine the bookmark itself. And once I've done all that, I'd like to leaf through the book one more time to see if there are any notes or loose pieces of paper concealed inside. Oh, it appears there was an extra 2 pages of conversation that I missed. Please ignore my last post. My last post of course being this current post, because the posts merge.
Bob Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 This is very bad... I hope she will survive. So there is a secret bunker somewhere in those tunnels. We were so close to the truth. Do I remember anyone in town named Brandon? "He's one of the fire-fighters." Officer Fields says. Can't as in you don't know what it is, or can't because of some bull reason? Someone died last night, and we have a stabbing! The time for holding back information has passed. What is this! "Alright, alright!" the congressman starts. "I cannot comment on what Project Wolf is, but I can comment on what X-K2P is." Someone from the crowd sends him a glare. "The time for secrecy is over. They're going to find out anyway because by now it's too late to stop it. X-K2P will take all of you, the citizens of Alabatha, and send you to an uncharted island military base. For life. The only way you could possibly stop it is by rooting out the communists." "What about our constitutional rights?" someone asks. "This is being done in secrecy. We've told the public that there was a problem at the power plant, and we've had to quarantine the population of Alabatha. Then President Truman declared martial law on Alabatha. We technically have the right to imprison you for as long as we possibly want." "There's been other communist investigations and searches! Why hasn't this X-K2P ever been used before!" someone else asks. "Well, first of all, you wouldn't know if it has been used before. Here's a hint though, it hasn't. Plus, there's never been a communist investigation in a town that sits directly next to an underground top secret military instillation." There's a general fear in the eyes of the townspeople. I would like to take the cash, and then do whatever I can to help the lifeguard Stevie pockets the money for gum, or whatever. Whoa there! There is a fire escape, but it's impossible to see if it's been recently used. Yes, was Mrs Jefferson also part of this secret research facility? Was Alabatha already infiltrated by commies 5 years ago? Possible, possible. I would like to explore the roof looking for anything that could have been left or dropped by the attacker. There's just nothing of interest in the hospital and you'd be wasting precious time looking."

This is simply outrageous. We're living in a free country sir, and whatever you're trying to protect in that secret base of yours is certainly not worth the life and liberties of the citizens of Alabatha. I still can't believe this is happening -- one day we're living peacefully and paying our taxes, the next we're being intimidated and life sentenced to a desert island? This is not the America I worked for, and I'm deeply disappointed at how us loyal citizens are being pushed around since the start of this mess. Farmer Alan investigates the roof, but cannot find anything. There does, however, appear to be something stuck at the top of the bell. I would like to pry out the object stuck at the top of the bell, but only if the action seems reasonably safe. "If you'd like to go to the hospital, then you may. There's just nothing of interest in the hospital and you'd be wasting precious time looking." And we're supposed to trust you about the hospital, when you have been holding back information since the start?
Peanuts Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 No, Brenda! Oh, we shouldn't have split up...or maybe it's a good thing we did, or there might be two bodys on the roof. And once again, our Congressman hasn't told us the full truth. And he isn't doing now. Can't you comment on project wolf because you don't know anything or because you're not allowed to do? I'd like to examine whatever is at the bell. I'm wondering what date we have, or how old the note we found is.
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I will help Farmer Simmons reach the object in the bell if he needs it. Since we know who Brandon was, does anyone remember a Jessica?

"Look, I don't want X-K2P to happen either, but that's up to General Stanley and Director Hoffman. I've been trying to get it removed since the start of this fiasco. Right now the only people who know anything about X-K2P are myself, President Truman, General Stanley, Director Hoffman, and Captain Garrison. President Truman is mostly unaware of the situation. He knows that X-K2P exists, but insisted that it never be used. Don't blame Truman or America, blame General Stanley and Director Hoffman." Congressman Bob says. Farmer Alan carefully climbs up, and pulls out a USSR Flag that was stuck at the top of the bell. No, Brenda! Oh, we shouldn't have split up...or maybe it's a good thing we did, or there might be two bodys on the roof. And once again, our Congressman hasn't told us the full truth. And he isn't doing now. I'm wondering what date we have, or how old the note we found is. "Not even I know what Project Wolf is. I was told that it was bigger than the Manhattan Project, though." Congressman Bob adds. Our current date is October 9th, 1952. I will help Farmer Simmons reach the object in the bell if he needs it. Since we know who Brandon was, does anyone remember a Jessica? "I can't recall ever knowing a Jessica." Officer Fields says. It's the general consensus of the others.
Walter Kovacs Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 "I can't recall ever knowing a Jessica." Officer Fields says. It's the general consensus of the others. The note says Jessica was working on this Project Wolf, so it stands to reason that none of us know or remember her. The members of that project probably have kept a low profile to avoid exposing the operation. It begs the question on how Brandon knew her at all, though. If Project Wolf is getting shut down, and information on the project is what the commies are after, why would the government need to enact X-K2P at all? The note says it's getting shut down in a few weeks, and here we are 18 days later. Is Wolf even in operation anymore? Gah, this is frustrating. We don't even know if what we've learned so far is valid, or we are on the wrong track with our votes against Ryan. God, I hope we were right. I'm going to return to the first floor (via the stairs; I don't trust that fireman's pole) and think about where to go next. Anyone have any ideas?
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 But if everyone knew who Brandon was, why wouldn't we know who his love was. She had to be around some time to be around Brandon. As far as where we should check next, I say since Nurse Parker is the only one to have worked at the hospital and we think that's where the facility might be, we might find it helpful to search her residence. I would like to scan the flag for any secret messages hidden on it.
Walter Kovacs Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 But if everyone knew who Brandon was, why wouldn't we know who his love was. She had to be around some time to be around Brandon. Yeah, I had that thought, too. But it was the only plausible theory I had. Unless Jessica is a codename of some sort.
Admiral Ron Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I cannot recall a Jessica, but I agree, we should go to Nurse Parker's residence.
Walter Kovacs Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Nurse Parker's place is fine with me. I just hope we find something useful there. The Jefferson household didn't yield much in the way of clues.
