August 29, 201410 yr Sweet haul, congrats! I'm still hunting for Shipwreck Hideout myself. I was veeery close to getting it for cheap about a year ago, but someone *just* beat me to it... it's the only one (apart from the Imperial Flagship, which I'll sadly never get) I still miss from Pirates 2009. Few months back i won a cheap Shipwreck from ebay but didnt reach me. Were you bidding on the one from UK few months back? if yes, then i might won it :)
August 29, 201410 yr Few months back i won a cheap Shipwreck from ebay but didnt reach me. Were you bidding on the one from UK few months back? if yes, then i might won it :) No no this was more of a craigslist type of thing, in Denmark. And I did get a couple of other nice sets from the same seller, though I wanted this one the most... and I won't give up!
August 30, 201410 yr Last related haul was a few Castle Forest Ambush sets during the target clearance for $4 each. Tripled those faction sizes.
August 30, 201410 yr 5 Legolas polybags at about 50 % off. It has some nice bricks (olive green leaves and cheese slopes). I'll probably offload most of the figs, though.
August 31, 201410 yr Finally got kingdoms joust in and finished building. Man, I don't think it's possible to exaggerate the greatness of this set. So many nice details and an interesting build process. One of the all-time greats. There's a really nice old review for it here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=73353&hl=%2Bkingdoms+%2Bjoust

September 2, 201410 yr I ordered 70403 Dragon Mountain. Basically bought it for the Dragon which is well designed and printed. To get such a rare creature in LEGO terms at this price point is great. The rest of the set is nice, especially because of the (albeit small) interior gadgets and the minifig designs and prints. The general color sceme looks a little much generic but i think that the set overall fits well into any medieval or fantasy setting.
September 2, 201410 yr I got a second Black Gate for $20 off from the clearance bin at Walmart. Man, you Americans get clearance LEGO at the most crazy prices. I'm insanely jealous!
September 2, 201410 yr Man, you Americans get clearance LEGO at the most crazy prices. I'm insanely jealous! Me too! In France, the price is terribly
September 3, 201410 yr Me too! In France, the price is terribly Yeah, I can imagine. Here, we're lucky if we can find a sale where we can get LEGO at a price that's similar to the American retail price... *sigh*

September 4, 201410 yr In historic related themes that would be three 'Unexpected Gathering's and one 'Escape fromMirkwood Spiders', all at about 50% off.
September 4, 201410 yr ^ Wow, where did you find 'An Unexpected Gathering' for half the price in Europe?
September 4, 201410 yr ^ Metro Cash&Carry. They were already discounted and I had some coupons for an additional 20% off.
September 17, 201410 yr Decided to get back into the Castle theme after seeing all the armies posted on this forum, so: 70403 Dragon Mountain 70402 Gatehouse Raid 70401 Gold Getaway 70400 Forest Ambush x4 (probably will get a few more) 10223 Kingdoms Joust Finished off Hobbit wave #2 with Lake-Town Chase & Dol Guldur Ambush Waiting for the Kings Castle to go on sale a bit lower to pick that up.
