Syn Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I see a lot of people from Sweden, the Netherlands, ext but hardly anyone from France. I'm trying to learn french and it would be nice to find someone who speaks it fluently. Its no big deal I just hate speaking probably the most hated language on the planet purely by where I live, I would like to be able to speak to other people in other languages. Anyways, we'll see who pops up on this, hope to hear from anyone soon.
Siegfried Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 There are many French members here, including member number 1, Jipay. (I don't think French is the most hated language on the planet. Why would you think that? Sure the USA have had some silly political differences, but I don't think there is any reason for hatred. After all, who made the Statue of Liberty?)

I think Syn meant English as the most hated on the planet

Syn Posted January 22, 2011 Author Posted January 22, 2011 (edited) I think Syn meant English as the most hated on the planet you are correct sir, Hey I'm french, from Bordeaux! I think I have a few compatriotes here such as lego-maniac aaaand... well some more guys. I don't think English is a hated language. It is international, simple and very useful! Ahhh Bordeaux, home of quite possibly the best tasting expensive wine I've ever had the privilege to drink. I believe it was a Latour? I'm sure you would look at me and say that is second rate mouth wash at best but It was expensive and tasted great lol! as far as English goes, I've grown up learning that a lot of people from different countries here I'm from and English speaking country and they act as if they have to bend over backwards to learn English or converse with me with the small amount of English they know. I don't feel anyone should do that I feel that you should at least learn the language before visiting. But that's just me. lol Edited January 22, 2011 by Syn
