ImperialJohn Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Absolutelly GREAT. *wub* It has action an nerve. (And to few orc's :$ ) And I really like the main characters: Gimli and legolas. They are great! I just wonder what happend to one of the statues?? :$ Quote
jonfett Posted December 5, 2004 Author Posted December 5, 2004 Thanks! I agree that there are not enough orks. I have about 30 or so but I will try to get some more, maybe 50-100 if I can get (or afford) the parts! I just wonder what happend to one of the statues?? Quote
ImperialJohn Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Ups. I think I have to watch TT yet another ten times to get all the details :$ Quote
ApophisV Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Sweet!!! *satis* But two things: First you should use a complete baseplate for displaying the orcs or at least you should put a grey cloth beneath the plates they are standing!!! ;) Second: More orcs.... :D Nonetheless looking veeeeeery good!!! :D :D Quote
jonfett Posted December 5, 2004 Author Posted December 5, 2004 First you should use a complete baseplate for displaying the orcs or at least you should put a grey cloth beneath the plates they are standing!!! ;) I am working on that at the moment, I had to just use some plates to keep them standing up as they kept falling over. But I am currently modifying it so there will be a whole baseplate underneath. Second: More orcs.... :D Again, I am working on it! ;) Jon. Quote
Vader Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 It looks like its coming along nicely, a base plate under the orcs would make them stand out more like the others have already mentioned. Theirs a few sites out their that sell custom LOTR decals for most of the characters that might intrest you and they also do custom weapons and the best bit is that their prices are low :-D . Quote
Jipay Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 I would suggest a giant baseplate for the whole projet. I like a lot your project ! Do you think you'll still try to expand it slowly ? :) It could be nice to see a giant moc at our event next year :oD Quote

SheepEater Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 (edited) Sorry for necromancing this old thread from 2004 but this MOC is pretty good. Edited June 6, 2012 by SheepEater Quote
Hive Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Sorry for necromancing this old thread from 2004 but this MOC is pretty good. Yeah I did feel it looked out of date and place untill I actually noticed when it was posted... Interesting to see this done long before LEGO LOTR or even the orcs/trolls in Fantasy Castle. And funny to see some similarities to what LEGO finally ended up doing. Quote
