Did we get any further regarding the engraving?

Shall I order the 1x8 Maersk Blue bricks (and ship them to Norway - what sounds rather stupid to me :sceptic:), or is anybody else already handling this issue?

I don't want to push it - well, actually I do  - because I have the feeling time is slowly running out if we want to arrange something.

Sidenote: The first post needs to be updated!

Friday evening (around 19h) is our special Eurobricks presentation (by Copmike, myself and special guests) and discussion. That's something I can recommend :classic:

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll keep it in mind. We'll see if we can make it!

I will, of course, do my best for you; we already have a request for many copies from elsewhere, and in addition it might be tricky to coordinate one of us with the right voucher in a store that has them in stock on each day, but we'll definitely try our very best for you.

At the end of play today, we're one for one (i.e. we have a poly-bag for you ) and we'll try to continue the success for the remaining days. Don't worry, I won't update daily , just thought you'd like to know we're off to a good start!

Really sorry things haven't worked out for Superkalle and family (different thread), but we'll also take lots of pictures, I'm sure.

Oookie, now having broken my metatarsal playing frisbee on Friday, I might not be able to make it - getting around the park (and not going to be able to go on the rides) would be a bit rough.

That said, I'm getting the proper cast on Wednesday, so who knows, my mobility might be better!

Maaaan, travel is a pain in the bum. This is getting hard to figure out! Getting to Paddington is easy, it's the hotel that is awkward.

:sceptic: I am confused, far far too confused.

Also, how late are people staying on the sunday? I can get travel tickets cheaper if I book to a time, but I do not want to get one at a stupid hard to get on time. I might just buy the open return to free up. But then there is the off-peak and I am so hacked off at this.

The Friday should be fine since no park on that day and it would be great to have you on Friday evening to discuss some idea's with you.

Most of us will leave on Sunday morning after breakfast. For me that will be around 9am since we have a long day traveling back (car -> boat -> car).

Mind you, travelling in the UK can indeed be... a challenge.

Hope you'll get everything sorted, Peppermint.

Ah, I will call tourist information and get some more info, plus the hotel might have som assitance to give. I might even get a travel card, which just makes things even easier.

Far from it, I ended up catching a plane that leaves Monday morning due to all the Sunday flights being ridiculously expensive. So I'll need something to do on Sunday afternoon/evening, and a place to stay from Sunday to Monday.

Well, My options are an 11am or 5pm train home, so I could stick around sunday but apart from checking out what the Travel Lodge/Holiday Inn/ Airport Hotel, I have no suggestions for overnight.

My plane departs at around 8 pm, so I can keep you company for most of the Sunday.

Does anyone know of an easy (and cheap) way of getting from Heathrow to the hotel? I had a look at the price for a cab and its around £65 :hmpf_bad:

Good you asked. I hope there will be a bus going to Heathrow ... on Sunday.

Can someone add me to the lineup in the first post please? I'll be travelling down by car early on Thursday and staying 'til late.
