February 2, 201114 yr Author I got sad news. It was a scam. The package arrived yesterday. I shaked it, and it sure was LEGO, but when I opened it I realized that the package wasn't misb, and that it was totally wrong pieces. It was a mix of pieces from set 8851 and 8030, and some other random pieces. No pneumatics, no tracks, no bucket, but a lot of wheels (????).. And I got instructions for set 8851, 8030, 8843, and a old technic booklet.. it was kinda' weird, 'cause it was some old lady that was selling it so it was a little suspicious.. but anyways, any ideas what to do?
February 2, 201114 yr Bummer! It was a new user to Tradera but still. Ask for your money back, they clearly stated it as a unopened set and it was not. See more here on how to proceed (in Swedish): http://www.tradera.com/help/HelpPage.aspx?NodeID=1640 Failing all that chalk it up to learning experience and move on.
February 2, 201114 yr Author She was appearently selling it for her abroad son... [edit] But seriosly, I think I'll have it fixed tomorrow Edited February 2, 201114 yr by blueShinyApple
February 2, 201114 yr I just won a auction! well, what should I do with a unopened 8851 pneumatic excavator? should I open it, or try to keep it till I'm 70 and sell it then? What do you use to do with MISB LEGO? should I make the worlds only unboxing video? Some ideas or thoughts? Open it :)
February 3, 201114 yr Author Problem solved! The old lady was selling her sons old LEGO, like a big lot of unsorted LEGO. But then, among all the other LEGO she found the box. You all know the old boxes, with a lid that opens, then through a transparent cellophane you can see the pieces, and you open the box on the side. She thought it was unopened -because of the cellophane , and she couldn't see that it was the wrong pieces, 'cause the instructions was placed all over the pieces..- so she picked it out and sold it alone. I bought it, she sent it, I got it, I opened it, I thought it was a scam, I called her, she gave me my money back. Edited February 3, 201114 yr by blueShinyApple
