tellblom Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I have finally finished the first floor of my MOC of a Starbucks. Since I can't attach all the pictures due to size limits you will have to watch them on the Swedish Swebrick http://www.swebrick.se/forum/index.php?topic=1653.0 Here is a resized pic: Quote
JopieK Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Very nice Starbucks! Also the sign is very nice. We also have some starbucks shops in our town :) But nowadays we have replaced our small shop by a Kiosk like this: Quote
LegoFan03 Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 LOVE IT!!!! I would love future modular buildings to include Starbucks too! Every town including Lego town should have at least one Starbucks. :) Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Great looking MOC 'tellblom' .....sadly Starbucks in Oz doesn't do very good coffee's and our local chain failed. Ah, well.....that's life and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Vincent Kessels Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 That is a promising first floor! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Very well done Starbucks MOC tellblom! I love the green-white color scheme that's simply spot-on for Starbucks, as well as the accurate details of the interiors which you'll normally see inside this famed coffee shop. Great job! Quote
BrickWild Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 A suburb in my state, Glenelg used to have a Starbucks! That's a good creation you've made! Quote
tellblom Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 Thanks all for the positive feedback. And lightningtiger as you said Starbucks doesn't serve coffe, it's something else. We in Sweden is more used to a stronger coffe :) But I really like the idea and their colors so my Lego folks have to drink it :) /Martin Quote
Eskallon Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Exceleent Starbucks tellblom, I really love the custom stickers you made and the green-white colour scheme going on there. Eskallon Quote
BrickPerfection Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 That's a very original idea for a town MOC! where did you get the stickers? Did you make them yourself and if so, how? Quote
tellblom Posted January 27, 2011 Author Posted January 27, 2011 Yes I made the stickers myself. It's made by a ordinary Avery label that has been printed in a ordinary laserprinter. After that I have applied a transparent duct tape (3m Scotch duct tape) /Martin Quote
tellblom Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 Finally my Starbucks is done in all three floors Here is the front The entrence Tiop view of the first floor The Barista :) Top view Second floor The toilett with toilettpaper :) :) Third floor with the playarea Finally the roof Some of the decals is still missing but there will be long before they are done so I show it anyway Hope you like it /Martin Quote

The Yellow Brick Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 The Starbucks is fantastic. The interior is great. you've managed to fit a lot of detail into a small space Nice work on the details on the front, A nice modern feeling Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Lovely design! I like that stairs and this old fashion style! Quote
Vindicare Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 I like the design, well built. But, I don't think any Starbucks are 3 levels... Maybe just 2 or even the one?.. It seems like all modular MOCs are 3 storys. You did a great job on the building, don't get me wrong. I like the use of studs to represent a stack of cups. Quote
tellblom Posted April 14, 2011 Author Posted April 14, 2011 (edited) @All: Thanks all and I'm glad you like it, more to come @Legocrazy81: I'm sure you are right about the levels :) But I wanted a clean Starbucks so it did get a "Family Floor" that are away from all busy workers .... /Martin Edited April 14, 2011 by tellblom Quote
