VenVoi Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 It looks as though they replaced the patty missiles with bubbles. I hope this isn't a permanent change; I was looking forward to those printed sesame seeds. Quote
Delta 38 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Strangely, I kind of want these. I'm not a fan of the series or anything, but they do look fairly small. I wish there were more sets though, I'd like to get the "normal" versions of the minifigs. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Ill get these sets for Sandy and PLankton. No other reason really. And Sandy finally gets her flower on her helmet. Sadly, still no accurate squirrel tail for her. The rest of the photos here. Quote
Dunjohn Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Thanks, she does look much better now. Although, Patrick no longer has the same torso. Quote
brickguy101 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 these lok good. I like the Spongebob and Patrik minifigures. (sorry for the bad language. I'm using a cheaap translator on the internt) Quote
Justin Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) Both sets are great. I like the addition of the flower on Sandy's air helmet. I also like the "Masked Sponge" in the Heroic Heroes set. (I do have this strange feeling that they put the Nickelodeon/SpongeBob license on hiatus in order to make licensed Disney products in 2010) Edited February 20, 2011 by Justin Quote
Omicron Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 (edited) So it's not the real heroes, but Spongebob and Patrick in Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy's outfits. That's not even Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy's outfits. why will they keep SB but ditch BM? Why do people keep assuming that they ditched Batman for Spongebob? Where was this even implied? It is two different licenses altogether. And Batman ended ages ago. -Omi Edited February 20, 2011 by Omicron Quote

If anyone is looking for the basis behind the characters' designs in the Heroic Heroes set, here's a poster with both SpongeBob and Patrick as superheroes: Now, do you see the resemblance? I'd have preferred buns too, but the jellyfish are still cool. Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 I'm really excited for these sets because of the new pieces in new colours. Like the ice creams in the glove world set. Roll on 2011 Quote
Geki Brick Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 I haven't seen the episode but I think those are jellyfish. I'd have preferred buns too, but the jellyfish are still cool. Buns wouldn't make sense because they are literally shooting a Krabby Patty at Plankton... Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Those poor jellyfish....being fired at Plankton - poor Plankton.....wait did I say poor Plankton ! It does make more sense to be jellyfish....patties is what that little green monster wants all the time ! I feel the only good thing about the sets are the minifigs and would be the only reason to buy either set.....so now it's back to the Sponge-Pineapple.....meh, it doesn't have the same ring as the Bat-cave eh ? Keep on tossing those Krabby-Patties ! Quote

Nightshroud99 Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 I like both, but Glove World more. There is something about these zany spongebob sets that draw me in... Quote
stc Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 (edited) Found images of both sets but the other is to big to upload. Enjoy! Sadly it looks like Sandy dosen't get her flower. :( Edited February 21, 2011 by stc Quote
Justin Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Sadly it looks like Sandy dosen't get her flower. :( I don't get it either. Why does the Sandy fig in the photo you posted have no flower on her helmet, where the Sandy fig found in FBTB's pictures has one? I don't know. Maybe the photo was shot between the time the preliminary box art and FBTB's photos were taken, which explains why the flower is missing. Or, maybe it was a sticker, and they may have forgot to apply it (let's hope it's not a sticker). Or maybe the helmet was put on backwards. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Stay calm People. Lego is lazy and will use prototype photo once again. The same thing for example was with the wizard- on pic his beard was gray and the printed title says something diferent than finished set. Quote

Dunjohn Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 TLG'd never ask people to apply a sticker to a rounded surface like the helmet anyway, those parts are always printed. Otherwise the sticker itself would have to be curved. Quote

Justin Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 These new LEGO SpongeBob sets have some potential for those Town MOCers out there considering that the ice cream pieces in new colors are perfect for ice cream parlors. And for those Space/Sci-fi MOCers, the space gun in the Heroic Heroes set would be a great weapon for your spacemen. Quote
montgocloud Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Shouldn't these pictures be removed? As much as I love getting new pictures, it has a watermark labeled: Confidential. I was reading my Brickjournal today and LEGO itself made a personal message to rid the internet of pictures with that exact watermark. I don't really want to spoil everyone's fun. Sorry. Quote
ManitobaMoe Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 only cool thing about more sponge bob is that now i can have more weird characters walking around my city :) Quote

It's admittedly a thin line, but Eurobricks isn't hosting those pictures, it's just linking to them. Eurobricks is complying with TLG, it's up to the page being linked to to remove them. Quote
