Hello LEGO-fans,

This year BeLUG will organise our first Belgian TruckTrial. After some initial indoor tests, we are planning one or two outdoor events this spring and summer. To prepare for this event I created a Nissan Patrol MOC. I welcome all suggestions to improve my vehicle, so I can win the contest :)

"A MOC specially built to participate in the Belgian TruckTrial. First version was too fast, so I created a second one, which was slower and had more torque. It can handle approx. 45 degrees."

Welcome to Eurobricks! Your Nissan should do very well in the Truck Trial! It is very capable. I like the pendular front and rear suspension. You should post it on BrickTruckTrial for additional visibility worldwide!

Hi Romacco !

I'm happy to see you here. I think your truck trial is great but too heavy ! Can't you lighten it?

Actually where will the competitions take place? I could be interested in participating.

i think not that it is to heavy. his patrol weights 1,3kg and my drivable willys chassis without the Body weights 795grams. He made a very good job

We don't have a location yet. But this Saturday (Febr. 5th) we have a BeLUG meeting in Tielt, Belgium. (near Kortrijk). There will be a indoor TrTr event. We've only 4 participaters, so you're always welcome!. For more info visit www.belug.be

Nice body, but I see that chassis design is slightly modified version of my Jeep Willys chassis.

Of course, I don't mind you using it, that's why I posted the instructions. But it would be nice if you mention your inspiration.

Hi,

I have mentioned you at the end of the video, so I really didn't have the intention to say that I created the rear axle. (a good one i must say!). The front axle is a little bit inspired by yours, but I wasn't very satisfied with your steering knuckles, and I didn't even know about your instructions, I just used this : http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=429579 . As you can see, he didn't mentioned you and I found your Jeep Willys a few weeks later on YouTube!

Regards,

Ramacco
