That would be an amazing theme. Although I don't know if a kraken-based design would work for Surge. Blue is no longer water!

Blue hardly looks like Electricity though. Surge 1.0 relied on the trans-yellow, which is absent in the 2.0 (and presumably any future) version. :sceptic: Still, a lightning associated creature would be the best for Surge, perhaps a Cyclops or Pegasus?

I can hardly see how electricity has a color. In many photographs you see of lightning, it looks red or purple. If anything, white would be a realistic electricity color. People made this same sort of argument when we had yellow and orange Toa of Stone, and it didn't hold much water then, either.

It should also be noted that there's no reason transparent yellow or transparent fluorescent green couldn't show up in a future version of Mark Surge. After all, Stormer 2.0 has transparent bright orange, of all things. And weapon colors don't necessarily have to match any color in a set's color scheme-- three of the 2.0 Heroes have transparent blue 4M beams, and Surge is the only one of the three to actually have any type of blue in his color scheme.

Anyway, something I thought of that would be cool would be an ice-themed villain who uses the new flame piece from the second-wave villains in transparent light blue and white (or some similar combination). You could throw some of Strakk's armor pieces on there for good measure-- after all, it's a piece without any obvious BIONICLE stylistic elements. No idea what sort of setting or situation this would work best for, or what sort of theme the heroes of such a wave would follow-- maybe something similar to Ice Planet, with chainsaws, heat ducts, and a lot of glowy orange goodness.

Since I absolutely love all those ice-themed colours, I'd be really happy to see more pieces in these colours.

How about a planet with mountains and stuff? It wouldn't be only ice, but also allow LEGO to create alongside with the Yeti something like a Rock Monster - or maybe even a volcano-based villain.

I would like to see a mining themed wave, with drills and pickaxes for the heros, and rock themed villians. Maybe lightup mining helmets and eyes too.

It would be cool if Heroes and MOCs came to earth. To LEGO city

Hero Factory is set on Earth!

A TRON like theme would be increadible. I really want a fantasy theme, with a mess of various different ideas in one, like Sucker Punch. :classic:

If Lego used licensed themes for action themes, then how about they license the themes for Hero Factory?

I mean a Heavyarms Rocka versus a E.V.O. Witch Doctor. Now that would be something to watch.

As much as a gundam fan that I am, Rocka + Heavyarms would not look good to me....

Meh, I will just bag my idea, but I have another idea.

Going with the "Dark Factory" idea, I am thinking that what if the heroes were heavily damaged by their dark counterparts? I have decided that after the heores have been heavily wounded, they have been exposed to some type of substance called GN Particles (That was from Gundam 00, but I am a fan of Gundam and I wanted to use that). They are turned into beings that look like the Virtuaroids (That concept came from Virtual-On; which I also have a interest in. The Heroes actually look like the VRs from Oratorio Tangram) and now, they are ready to fight their counterparts with their new powers and weapons.

Off topic: if some of you don't know what Virtual-On is, then this is what it is:

okay, so:

makuhero city is experiencing a series of strange earthquakes, slowly centering in on the hero factory. a team of six heroes,

furno

stormer

stringer

evo

breez

and nex

are dispatched to investigate.

they find a team of 3 villians,

TNT,

pickaxe master,

and the leader, millennium driller

drilling tunnels under the city.

they must stop them or the hero factory will collapse!

A wave with more of a vehicular emphasis would be neat. The Furno Bike was amazing, and I'm a bit disappointed that we haven't had anything like that since wave 1.

I love the cowboy and ice themes, but you know what would be really cool! Swamp theme! A hero is stuck on a swamp planet after his ship broke down, and the heroes go their toward him. The heroes fall in the swamp and are mutated into monsters.

Oh boy. Like that isn't stereotypical. :hmpf:

The whole 'mutation' thing is a one-wave thing, I think. Hordika was quite enough for me. I would rather see a redo of Mistika or Phantoka, or, overall, Toa Mahri! The underwater gear in those waves was great, and I would like to see some adapted to the new system, like the Furno from the 2012 wave, but with a whole team of Heroes decked out in diving gear! :excited:

Steampunk because I'm a sucker for such things. Plus, think of all the pieces that we could get.

Underwater... Meh. No. Never was a fan of underwater themes. But it'd be cool to see an octopus villain.

Some kind of Bug-related theme would be sweet. Giant spiders would be epic.

I'd also like to see a storyline that takes place in a city. Not necessarily Makuhero City, but a city in general.

Personally, I like the direction the line is going in currently with the "Each Hero on a separate mission" deal. So, I'm indifferent when it comes to specific region-based themes or the like.

Kalhiki

Giant Spiders. Want.

Apparently you have never heard of Waspix or Scorpio. :hmpf:

Anyway, I would rather have underwater than mutated heroes, I never really liked the Hordika. The Mahri though, those were epic. If they could do another wave like that, I would buy every set. :excited: Another thing that would be cool would be something like Mistika, with mutated villains and normal Heroes. Especially if the Heroes had flying apparatuses and spinning blades. :wub_drool:

I want colourful gangsters, pirates, cowboys, cyber knights, cyber ninjas, cyber skeletons, colourful trolls, martial artists. Then they will unite with heroes to fight with zombies and conspiracy in Hero command center.

I want a TRON-based theme...but I'm more for a mythological theme like: Dragon Furno, Yeti Stormer, Harpy Breez, Kraken Surge, etc.

excuse me, i need to go send an e-mail to lego

anyway, the whole underground theme sounds excellent, although i'd prefer something like this:

3 incredibly fast villians are on the loose in makuhero city! quick! heroes to upgrade floor!

with new supersonic boosters on their feet, and laser rifles, these heroes are ready to take on the quick villians!

set names:

speed furno

quick breez

supersonic nex

dash stringer

sprint rocka

the large hero set would be breez on her bird-mech!

I subscribe to the ideas of Western, Underground (imagine to quantity of transparent pieces thaat could bring!) and Swamp.

To elaborate further on Swamp. Yeah, Bionicle already did it with the Mistika and it had some nice concepts and pieces (and some beautiful box art!), but overall that line was a disappointment to me, especially as far the Toa trio was concerned.

I feel that Lego could reuse the base of the Mistika wave: Heroes with swamp/flying equipment (toxic proof equipment similar to Evo's, turbines, wings, jetpacks, visors..) against insect-like villains.

More about the villains: rather than the usual insects (scorpions, wasps, mosquitos, etc..) I would like to see Lego using some really cool bugs they never used much, if at all (too lazy to check, sorry): moths/butterflies, mantises, rhino beetles, dragonflies.. Or (and I would absolutely love that) they could mix it up and have some of the villains being insect-based, with others being plant-like abominations. Heck, some of them (the Big Bad, for example) could be insect-plant hybrids.

Space.

An alien race, that means actual biological and cyborg monster villains try to take over some space station. That means heroes will get jetpacks, plasma guns and other gadgets. The aliens will generally be small, and instead of a titan, there will be Exo-toa style mechs and/or a ship.
