escortmad79 Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 (edited) No glory hunting overpriced, overpaid primadonna Premiership team for me! I support the team from where I was born & raised, Torquay United: Edited December 15, 2010 by escortmad79 Quote
Etzel Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 So far this thread is just the same as the existing "Which is the team in sports that you support?" -thread. Shape up and do some real discussion or I'll close this one. Quote
Enpaz Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 While I'd not say I'm something like a real fan, I definitely root for FC Chelsea London! I really don't understand all the hate this club gets. How's the situation in whereever you guys come from? At any rate, in Austria Chelsea does tend to get flamed very often, most notably because of Mr Abramovich and his money. Quote
commanderneyo Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 I am a United fan too DarthJarJar. None of that Liverpoo or Arsenal or Chelsea boredom for me. I support the Best Team in the Premiership. Can't wait for the Chelseavs Man United match so we can Hammer them and show them who is Boss Quote

prateek Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Transfer deadline day!!! To Liverpool are Suarez and Carroll. From Liverpool are Torres and Konchesky. I'm sad Torres is gone, but we got two new strikers! Quote
Izzy Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 After 2 warnings the "Any football fans out there? Not the american kind;)" topic was not differing from this topic so I have merged them. Play on! Quote
VBBN Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Figured i'd do my annual superbowl topic, who are you guys routing for? Steelers for me. I honestly dont have a huge differentia preference between the two though. Quote

It's basically just the same and we don't need a that many topics about non-LEGO stuff in a LEGO forum Quote
Ratshot Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 (edited) I want the packers to win, only because I hate the Steelers! The Steelers are way to sleazy for me . Just for the record, after last years Super Bowl party (Nobody was drunk!) I got into an argument with a group of Saints fans about who was better, the Colts or the Saints. They jumped on me, ripped of my sweater, shirt, socks, shoes and hat. I was then taken outside and "placed" in a snowbank. Last years SB party was a little to cold for me! prateek Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 I'm going with the Steelers. They are too good. Just watch the opening drive of the championship game! Plus, I'm a Bears fan Quote
Ceroknight Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Steelers!! NHL: Vancouver Canucks/Pittsburgh Penguins NBA: LA Lakers Tennis: Nadal PGA: Woods, not as much now, Watson and Michelson Soccer: Not really a fan of it but Man U Quote
Jargo Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 I've never liked team sports. Probably something to do with my family being Liverpool FC and Tranmere Rovers FC supporters and being expected to follow suit. I like individual sportsmen and women. Or sports people to be politically correct. As such I follow stuff like track and field events or swimming/diving. Gymnastics. Where it's easy to see the highs and lows of a particular person and follow them as they progress through a years events. It's also interesting to note which people are in for the sake of sport and who is doing it for glory only. I'll support a sportsman but not a glory seeker. Quote

Vindicare Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Not much of a euro footballer, I so watch the World Cup when it's on. Hockey is the San Jose Sharks and USA football is the Green Bay Packers Quote

Lord Rahl of Clannad Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 In football (not the American kind), I support my local (well, there a couple of hours away from me, but that's not too bad) team Norwich City FC. No Premier League glory hunting for me. I also support the England national team in football, even if they have become very poor compared to other countries in recent years. I'm not really a fan of any other sports. Quote
Leo604 Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 NFL: Cincinnati Bengals NCAA (football and basketball): LSU, USC, Oregon, Cincinnati NBA: Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers. Quote
Daenerys Targaryen Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I'm a die-hard Montreal Canadians fan throug hand through! Living in the center of Leafs nation only adds to the entertainment value... It's simply too easy to poke fun at Toronto, but it's something no self-respecting Habs fan can pass-up. Q: What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic both have in common? A: The both look good until the they hit ice. Quote
