TLC still has the license?! Why aren't they making sets anymore? I know why, but WHY!

Mind you, Harry Potter is (sadly) over for LEGO.

I'm sorry to say this, HP fans, but if LEGO makes new sets, I'll eat my kettle, then buy a new one, then eat that too! :cry_sad:

It's possible that they're just skipping a year, as they've done before. Previously this was often done to space out the theme in non-movie years, so the theme could potentially return after Pottermore or other attempts to continue marketing the story are finished.

Oddly enough, a Hogwarts has been released every three years since the line began. So I'll run with that idea, and not count this theme out for good unless 2014 goes by without any new sets.

Thats a fair call, as I said earlier I heard the theme won't end until 2016

Hmmm... What would make a great set? I know! The Giant Squid! Brick-built animals = Plus, they could throw in a couple of random plant arrangements from the depths of the lake and some mermaids or grindylows! And, of course, another Harry.

I'd buy it, at least.
