WhiteFang Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Well done! I can't help but to adore the integration of the Collectable Minifigures in this beautiful wax museum. It is truly remarkable and I enjoyed very bit of it. This was blogged earlier in, Quote
shutinc Posted February 13, 2011 Author Posted February 13, 2011 Can you pls share how you did the lighting? Hope this helps: Quote
tootsman10 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 I love your MOC, I've been wanting to do something where I make a base with a theme for each minifig, for example a circus themed base with the clown, and having the same dimensions for each base. But after seeing this I'm having second thoughts, because this is a really cool idea. Quote
buddy Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Excellent MOC! It is highly detailed and looks great. Both the interior and the exterior are well built. Extremely well done. ~buddy~ Quote
Naylus Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Museums is my passion. It's always good to visit one whether You stay home or travel abroad. Seeing one in Lego is also something of an amazement... Quote
dark1san Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 some of the scenes remind me of the 80's movie Waxwork Quote
Man with a hat Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 This is just amazing. I love every bit of it. And real cool those light. I like it the way you did it seemingly without use of non-LEGO parts. Quote
shutinc Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 (edited) I apologize for bringing up this old and dead topic, but I feel it's necessary considering there are a certain someone claiming to sell authentic instructions for this museum on a certain auction site. I want you to know that this is a fake as I have never made any instructions for this building, neither have I approved for any to be made for resale. The pictures have been stolen from my flickr account without permission. Sorry again for the bump and I ask for your understanding. EDIT: And the seller's feedback shows that people have actually purchased the instructions. I think the message is clear, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER. Also, your model is spectacular. Words cannot describe how good it is, you should be immensely proud. The best way of displaying minifigures, ever. Edited August 29, 2011 by Roger Rabbit Quote

This museum is wonderful inside and out, and I just saw some of you WIP shots on flickr of your next creation - equally beautiful! I thought this seller looked familiar, and someone in the topic about the next potential modular linked to them selling instructions for a Jamie Berard designed Town Hall which clearly can't be authentic either. I hope you have reported them to the site - posting creations that aren't yours on other sites is bad enough, but profiting from it is truly horrible. Thank you for bringing this to the board's attention. Quote
Bricky0 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 (edited) Great way to display your collectible figs! Edited August 30, 2011 by Bricky0 Quote

The same auction seller has your wax musuem and Jamie's Town Hall instructions listed in his store. Shameful for doing that without permission. Quote
L@go Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 The same auction seller has your wax musuem and Jamie's Town Hall instructions listed in his store. Shameful for doing that without permission. I've sent Jamie Berard a message about this. I'm also trying to reach a Brickshelf user called Peachtree, but don't know how to do that. The eBay seller also sells instructions for three of his modulars - doubtlessly without permission. Quote

Jedi master Brick Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Extremely nice MOC. Shame someone has to steal your ideas Make a complaint to eBay and contact the buyers( If possible) to let them know them know this your design and the seller has stolen it from you. Once Jamie Berard finds out you two will be able to shutdown the seller. Quote
shutinc Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 Thanks for your support, everyone! Means a lot to me :) Quote
Hinckley Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I love this building. I think I shall blog it. Thanks for posting and sharing it with us shutinc. It's quite amazing. It's very inspiring. I especially love your snotty roof and the nice triangle you formed in the ... hanging gables ... if that's what they're called. Quote
