Hi!

Not sure if it belongs here, but action seems like a good choice - secret agents with custom weapons could rock, right?

So, here's my custom Dragunov sniper riffle:

Hi,

The barrel itself is a black spear - I cut the sharp end with my swiss army knife and put a black technic brick at one end. It turned out quite well - the barell is long and straight, and the holes in the technic brick look like in a real SVD.

I always wince at parts modification, even though I used to do it myself! But this does look great, Squarepants. Great eye for the parts and their shapes, a very neat rendition of a Dragunov.

That's a really interesting way to build a gun. Very interesting use of pieces. I always thought the Dragunov looked a little funny, but in LEGO, it looks great! Do you mind if I use it in a MOC sometime, maybe?

I'm on a big call of duty stint right now, so this makes me smile.

I think the gun is done beautifully, you were able to get the lego proportions really close.

That fig looks like a knock off though, only a true lego minifig should have this sweet gun.

The torso is a knock off, unfotunately I do not have any military-looking original torsos :/

The inspiration was my full-size SVD:

(I still need to get a PSO-1 scope)

Hi and sorry for bumping,

While browsing through my parts today, I encountered something that suits the Dragunov really well as a silencer/sound suppressor. Here's how it looks:

The proportions are acceptable, especially since I can always use the longer barrel. And just as a reference, my finished full-size SVD:

(yeah, no PSO-1, have to settle with a normal hunting scope)
