February 15, 201114 yr Best Lego tow truck ever! Complex functions and even so good looking. I´m blown away :)
February 15, 201114 yr What can I say that hasn't already been said? This MOC goes on the list of the truly great, and that's a small list. I'd also like to point out that your level of presentation keeps getting better and better. The sliding titles which reflected in the chrome fuel tanks was genius, and I also see that you learned how to rack focus!
February 15, 201114 yr Author What can I say that hasn't already been said? This MOC goes on the list of the truly great, and that's a small list. I'd also like to point out that your level of presentation keeps getting better and better. The sliding titles which reflected in the chrome fuel tanks was genius, and I also see that you learned how to rack focus! Playing with the focus was possible thanks to a DSLR camera (Sony a33, specifically), which I only bought recently. It can record videos in exactly the same way it shoots photos, auto and manual focus modes included. I'm delighted with it and I think I will be getting more from it in the future - in fact, I have just ordered an external microphone, because it can be equipped with one.
February 15, 201114 yr I have already said it before, and i will said it again: Very well done, you managed to make a functioning beautiful creation once again :)
February 16, 201114 yr Hi Sariel, great work, and a great start to your MOCs this year. I'm glad you have been able to incorporate your Automated Trafficators System into this model, as well as the reversing lights, and of course the mesmerising set of lights on the top. I think I would have liked to see less 'extra' motors used to control the lights, and rather see more gear driven drive-trains, but I think you have done an amazing job fitting in all those functions into the size of that chassis. Your work has been an inspiration to me (just coming out of my dark ages), and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next...
February 16, 201114 yr Seeing this MOC makes me speachless... It makes me real happy to that it's possible to make such a model out of LEGO.
February 19, 201114 yr Before i fall off my chair i can only say CONGRATULATIONS! I am really impressed with this MOC! Make a tutorial! Where did you get the pieces? Is it a set? Nah, i'm kidding, but seriously you've done an amazing job on this MOC. Whoever hates this he is just jealous of your talent and skill and experience and what not!
February 21, 201114 yr Looks like someone has finally outperformed Grazi and his tow truck Anyhow... great work! I'd be confused before I'd be even halfway there, with so many motors and stuff.
February 24, 201114 yr Meh, I bid you €10 for it. AH MAH GAHD! Stunning Sariel! All this in only six weeks? Or was that the accumulated hours translated into weeks?
February 26, 201114 yr Author Sorry for bringing the topic up again, but some people requested a Full HD video, so I did one, just to bid the model goodbye before I take it apart. Enjoy:
February 26, 201114 yr That's the true spirit, build something amazing, take it apart again, to build something else. What a nice truck....
February 28, 201113 yr Outstanding MOC! It both looks excellent and has excellent functionality. The amount of motors and wires you've used in this is staggering as is the size of it. Extremely well done. ~buddy~
