lt.Gonville brickhead Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 (edited) The Pirates of the Caribbean mini-site on LEGO .com is live! Well, actually it's a teaser site, like the Harry Potter one was, with the figures. Here is the link: Pirates of the Caribbean . Great find!!! Still can't wait. Euvor Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 (edited) I'd better start checking that site daily! On the page this can be seen under Jack's foot: Is it a new fig, or only one of the mermaids with badly coloured hair? Edited March 1, 2011 by Euvor Quote
Silverface Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I'd better start checking that site daily! On the page this can be seen under Jack's foot: Is it a new fig, or only one of the mermaids with badly coloured hair? Hopefully it's a new minifig. But I think it's more realistic to believe that it's a mermaid with badly coloured hair unfortunately. Quote
J-MAN Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Does anyone know the officaial prices for these PotC sets? I saw what looked like price tags in some of the pics but they were really blurred. Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 (edited) Queen Annes Revenge $120.00, Black Pearl $100.00, White Cap Bay $80.00, The Mill set $50.00, cannibal escape $20.00, London escape $40-$60 and I think the rest are between $10-$20 dollars. Edited March 2, 2011 by Dr.Cogg Quote
prateek Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Great find! It's weird that Barbossa is listed twice though, in exactly the same pose. Quote
J-MAN Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Thanks for the info. Are there any pictures of the Black Pearl posted? Where did you find these prices? Quote
giggitygoo Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Unfortunately on the Teaser site it doesn't look like the Black Pearl figs are listed :( cant wait to find out Quote
Captain Becker Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 (edited) Those prizes were sayed in this tpic earlier, i think someone should add the prizes in the first post and add the prizes in USD and in Euro. It would help us alot. What i remember, those prizes were unbelivible high in Euros. Captain Becker Edited March 2, 2011 by Captain Becker Quote
Euvor Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Great find! It's weird that Barbossa is listed twice though, in exactly the same pose. And also I can't seem to find Blackbeard anywhere? Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 And also I can't seem to find Blackbeard anywhere? The Barbossa clone has now been replaced by Blackbeard In case they're continuing with one minifig a day they'll all be revealed by the end of this month... Does this mean that the sets might be released a little earlier? I don't remember how many weeks prior to the release of the HP sets the respective minifigs were revealed, but if it was close there, it might be as well here... Quote
punkkid364 Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Unfortunately on the Teaser site it doesn't look like the Black Pearl figs are listed :( cant wait to find out Right. All the figs on the site are accounted for in the pics we've already seen: (L to R, T to B) Jack (plain) Blackbeard cannibal 1 Will Hadras Jack (cannibal) Phillip zombie guy 1 (Captain's Cabin, QAR) carriage driver (London Escape) cannibal 2 soldier (London Escape) Jack (skeleton) royal guard (London Escape) Barbossa (pirate) mermaid 1 Elizabeth Barbossa (skeleton) Norrington pirate (Scrum? Whitecap Bay) Barbossa (Navy) Jack (coat + hat) mermaid 2 Angelica zombie guy 2 (Captain's Cabin, QAR, Whitecap Bay) pirate (tan hat QAR) zombie guy 3 (QAR) Gibbs I'm not sure about the placement of some of these, like Will Gibbs and Phillip all have the same hairpiece, two of the zombies are bald, and the two pirates with tricornes could be reversed, but they're all accounted for. I'm so glad they realized that having a couple of different Jacks is a good idea. How long did it take to get an alternate Indy? Quote
Gregorovich Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Thanks Grogall for these excellent pictures! Where do you get all your great Hi-Res photos from ? I love those mermaids more and more every time I see them, Elizabeth Swann is a really beautiful figure, and the colour of the Shell-man's torso is lovely(it's probably already been seen, but it's new to me). Thanks again for the photos, Grogall! Quote
CMP Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Er...what are Barbossa and skele-Barbossa doing? Thanks for the figs, grogall. They look good so close up. Quote

Ogre Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Anyone else wish that LEGO would release nets in a colour that LOOKS like period netting? Enough with the black nets! White, or tan, or light brown, or SOMETHING that looks more realistic, please! Quote
deskp Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) Cool cover, shame that some of the parts are the wrong color. (Angelica and Will's legs, jack's bone in the hairpiece) _________________________ Does anyone like the game's bone cages better than the one from the sets? Also is it possible to build this with real lego? Edited March 6, 2011 by deskp Quote
Gregorovich Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Thanks for the pictures, Grogall! The cover for the game is nice, with all the figures and other things. I hope that when they do make a Davey Jones he looks like the one of the box. The box art for all the sets are nice too. Thanks again! Quote
Tom Dickenharry Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Gee, these look awesome! However, can someone explain why Barbosa is holding an apple? Quote
-Parasite Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) Woah. In terms of minifigs, these sets are amazing! I'll definitely have to pick up a few. Also I'm in love with that globe. Edited March 6, 2011 by -Parasite Quote
