I'm glad your new sets finally arrived! It was almost worth the wait, though, as they add a lot to your city. I love how it keeps evolving to be better and better, and it looks great. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Looks AWESOME 'TYB', the marina is beautiful in that position.....now we can see how it can in a city layout.

Though I know one thing, this will not stop changing....will it ?:laugh:

Brick On 'TYB' !

Nice additions, like their spots too. The marina looks cool there, but where's your windsurfer? Also, I thought you bought the Hillside House? I didn't see it?

Thank you Legocrazy81, I forgot to put the wind surfer in while I was taking the photos so you will defiantly see him next time .

I didn't buy the Hillside house as it didn't have enough money and I could only manage to get those sets, but The next orderthe make will include the harbour and the Hillside house :classic:

I have really enjoyed watching this grow. Keep up the brickcellent work!

IT looks really nice, the marina, the beach the fishing boat, and ofcourse the street with the modular buildings. I really need to ask but what's up next

Well I'm not quite sure what's next besides trying to complete the beach area by adding the Hillside house and the harbour.

I've been told that I cannot have a underneath part to my city damn.gif as my I might hurt my back with me leaning over and crouching down to reach it. So I could have the doorway expanded to allow a joining table (In the next room) so my city could be even bigger default_laugh2.gif But I'm not sure that will work as I'd like to keep that other room empty. So I'm gonna try and have the underneath part instead...default_innocent2.gif

Sooo.... I haven't been very active over the past couple of weeks as I have been very busy with collage work. And I thought I should give you guys a bit of an small update on the city.

I have finally gotten the harbour and that's now in the city and is ready to be shown to you guys, I must say it looks okay but not perfect. I will be modifying it in 2 weeks as on Tuesday I will be off on holiday to Lanzarote (which there happens to be a store which sells old Lego so with a bit of luck there might be some classic town sets.) hopefully I can pick up the City 2011 promotional plane set.

With the red cargo train hitting some shops around the world it's not long till it arrives in the united kingdom, when that becomes available it will be adding it to the city. it won't haven permanent spot in the city but it will be shown occasionally. the tan coal loader thingy which is included in the set will go around the harbour area. That would probably the most suitable area for it.

that's all I really have to say at the moment and if I think of anything else you need to know I will post it. Oh and feel free to ask any questions :classic:

Oh I almost forgot to mention. I have printed off some stickers and I will be changing the small coffee shop into a Starbucks.

So I am gonna try and make a start on that soon

Oh I have had to order some more baseplates, because the sun has warped them into new shapes. I have this problem every year as the city is right under a window and during the summer the sun will focus on the city for at least a couple of hours everyday. I would usually put a blanket over the city when I'm not in the room but I forgot to do that so after one week of sun it has completely ruined them :sceptic:

Warped base plates....yeah I have the same problem sometimes.

I look forward to seeing your Starbucks coffee shop 'TYB' and keep on building !

Thanks Lightningtiger.

For the Starbucks I was thinking of remaking the store so that it has an interior and roof top seating area or just keeping the store what I have now but just change the colours. I'll probably give the coffee shop a complete makeover, I'm pretty confident that it will make the beach look better overall default_classic.gif

So now Im off to design it on LDD and I'll post it here so you guys can make suggestions. default_innocent2.gif

You should have the window tinted then, as dark as possible. It'll keep out so much of that light.

Its been awhile since I last posted so time for some news on whats happening

Finally arrived back of my holiday and I manged to get this years promotional plane set. I've just finished combining that with the 4642 fishing boat and it looks great. Plan to make a topic for that later in the week.

been continuing building the Starbucks which is comming along fine. Im making it look like an old building that has been restored. (I will be using to column pieces that came with the Atlantis set default_thumbup.gif) Oh pictures will be comming soon!

Im also planning on making a second building...an apple store default_laugh2.gif. Im still deciding whether to make that a modular building (What do you think).

Wow.

a modular apple store would look really good with all the clear and white bricks. :classic:

But you forgot one thing you need to add : a lego store!

Last year I started a topic showing my Lego City. However since then I have made a few changes to it.

It was previously placed on the carpet, which was incredibly bumpy and didn't really help as some of the baseplates were begining to mold into the shape of the carpet by the sun and the city it was also a great little town for spiders and bugs who loved to crawl into the buildings and die default_look.gif.

So not long ago we had a table made which at first I was quite worried that I wasn't going to get all of my town to fit on. But I managed to squash it on (you can see, because the train track is hanging off nearly). But I'm quite happy with the result, so here it is. my new table town.

Now you may be wondering why is the beach empty. Well I can explain.

I'm still waiting for the new harbor sets to be released so that I can upgrade the beach.

(Some of you might of seen my other Beach, and thought that it needed more details added)

You can also see that I'm building a wall of rocks on the side of the water.

The farm is also something that I plan to upgrade alot.

Previously I posted a much larger farm. but some of you pointed out that it was very bare.

So after taking your comments into consideration, I made it alot smaller and also added some plans and tree's (I will be putting more in)

Can you spot where I ran out of track default_blush.gif

That's all for now. I will keep you updated in the future when I add to it.

C & C welcome as allways. default_classic.gif

Oh and the quality of these photos dosn't look too good so I'll try and improve that sometime.

So..... I havn't been on Eurobricks in a while and I guess its time I payed this topic a visit and gave you alittle info on whats happening with my city.

Well, the city has remained untouched for 2 months atleast. So in the next couple of days I will be in there cleaning and re-modeling it as its in need of a new layout to make way for the new 2012 sets. (which I havn't really had a good look at yet)

I didn't get chance to get some boards made for the undearneath of the table :look: So hopefully that will be done before christmas.

If I do have the underneath board fitted the farm will be moved below so I can have a main town on the top, and also extend the beach/harbour as currently its quite overcrowed down that end. Oh and spacing out the modular buildings is another thing needed to be done.

if you have any suggestions on what I should do, feel free to tell :classic:

The new sets are set in a forest and in the mountains.....climb, er...I mean build every mountain 'TYB' !

I look forward to your changes to that great layout of yours.....Brick On ! :classic:

Glad you're back, and I'm looking forward to future updates!

Are you going to include the police station (7498) in the layout, and buy other sets which you didn't buy previously, such as the CITY Harbour and Hillside House?
