Hi all,

My contribution to LEGO World 2011 in Copenhagen last week was a model of Flintholm Station, a two-level metropolitan station in Copenhagen.

My version is set in a winter landscape:

All pictures can be found in my Brickshelf folder after moderation.

A couple of details:

The elevator (on the left) runs using a Mindstorms NXT hidden in the café.

This Youtube video of the LEGO World train layout features the station. At 1:25, my Train with automatic sliding doors makes a stop at the station, check it out:

So, what do you think of it?

Hej Esben,

Really a great job there. So many amazing details. I especially like the glass roof, the machines for validating the tickets (the small yellow boxes on the platforms), the display with timetables at the busstops, timetables on the platforms, Harry (the purple teddy bear) on the windows of the Kort & Godt kiosk, and the ads (in this case for "Klovn"). And I can see that Flintholm has been upgraded to a long-distance railway station  I like the ET/Øresundstog (the grey train on the upper deck).

Wow! Nice! There are so many things to see!

I really like the way you made the support pillars, great!

Keep up the good work!

Just when I thought I had seen great stuff here, you come along with this beauty and leave me speechless.

I can now barely manage this one question - Just how many pieces did you use and where did you acquire/buy all these pieces from?

Nice to see a MOC of the Öresund Trains (the grey train at the second photo and from 3:56 in the Youtube clip). These run both in and between the eastern parts of Denmark and the southern parts of Sweden. Are there any more photos of them?

Absolutely stunning layout- and I loved the YouTube. I thought the opening door mechanism on that EMU was especially clever.

I noticed a lot of nickel silver non-Lego trackwork in use- are you able to tell us more about how this was constructed?

I think you are talking about the Lego 9V track, which is now discontinued, but was around for many years.

Hi all,

Thanks for your comments, I am glad you like the model.

The door on the train look great too. Was that done with PF or some other motor system?

Yes, it is using PF. See my original post about the train:

Yes, indeed. See my original post about the train:

I don't really know... but not that many. A couple of thousands? No bricks were bought specifically for this model, they were all part of my quite modest collection.
