May 10, 201113 yr I've never tried to stop it by doing anything other than push the parts in real tight. That usually does the trick. It's usually not a big enough problem to do anything else. By the way, I see that you've quoted me in your signature. I'm honored! I might have a look at a fix and I will post what if anything I can do to fix it. Glad you like it, it made me laugh so much when I first read it :)
May 15, 201113 yr I got that set yesterday and I really like its functions! I've added rear reversing lights to it!
May 20, 201113 yr After having a lucky break, I could buy the set for peanuts (50 €) I build the hotrod, but I wasn't happy. A hotrod needs to stand forward, as the back-wheels are often larger. That is why I changed the back-wheels to those of the 8448 supercar. Making the rear-fenders a bit larger was easy, and just used left over parts. Enjoy
May 20, 201113 yr I was thinking about buying another 8070 just to build as the B model, do you think it is worth it just to do that? Paul
December 30, 201113 yr I saw this set yesterday in a local market for 89 €, and decided to give it a shot. I finished it today, and I must say it's much better than I expected! It looks super cool, and I actually like the motorized functions a lot. I agree with some that pole reverser would been nice, but the battery box switch gets the job done. I still might add pole reverser later. + eye candy + it is big! + nice functions and they work very well + smooth propulsion + very good building experience, specially in the end when adding the body panels, and see how it shapes + nice stickers, not too noticeable since they are red with relatively small prints - connections of few body panels are a bit flimsy - rear look is not perfect due the pf battery box, but doesn't mind me much I'm glad that I bought it, and will recommend it to anyone who is considering to buy. At least for under 100 €. By the way in the same market was the unimog too, with 189 € price tag. Comparing to that 89 € from 8070 wasn't not bad at all I think. Edit: Pole reverser added, improves operation tremendously Edited December 30, 201113 yr by Finntech
December 30, 201113 yr Why does it have two fuel caps? It is handy in a fuel station. E: I took them both away, looks better without Edited December 30, 201113 yr by Finntech
December 31, 201113 yr @Finntech If it's easier at the fuel station then why not put the fuel line in the center of the back of the car? That seems much simpler, just back up to the pump and save room at the station! me and my crazy ideas... sorta off topic ideas.
November 3, 201311 yr I was browsing Brickshelf and found this amazing 8070 white modification made ba user vsync. I think it looks gorgeous. Here you can find more pictures. Edited November 3, 201311 yr by Povratnik
November 5, 201311 yr Oh wow, that's awesome!! Time to build this beauty again. Could also be done with a black top, GTO style. Nice find, I'll keep this one in mind.

November 5, 201311 yr Part http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2741 Sets http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=2741&in=S To be more precise:
November 5, 201311 yr Thanks! My problem seems to be that I'm not following sets outside of technic much... Quite often those rare off-color technic parts come from the weirdest sets. Too bad teal( or dark azure, whatever) isn't in fashion in technic anymore. Edited November 5, 201311 yr by skppo
November 5, 201311 yr True!! There a loads of Technic or Technic-ish parts in Bionicle as well. Some of the are quite useful or can be used for decoration. Sometimes I am as surprised as you are about these kind of parts/colors.
November 5, 201311 yr I wish green, the type of green as in 42008, would be used in more sets and produced in a larger quantum. Would be nice with more green instead of the overused yellow.

November 5, 201311 yr Check the discussion in this topic (you might have seen it): http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=85899&st=450#entry1733687 There's a link to the 2014 sets. 5 of them contain blue parts
November 5, 201311 yr I've seen them, I meant that I'd like blue or green to be used as the main color in more sets
