Wow Def,

You need to calm down and maybe take a break from the game. I feel sorry for Hinckley after that. :classic:

Oh, don't you worry about me.

Poor Shadows... That was his third death this game.

Shadows' constant deaths may be enough for me to get over the grudge I've held against him since Hogwarts Mafia...

No worries, the days before were genuine outbursts. What I wrote last night was merely the mafia equivilent of hard journalism

No hard feelings intended at all.

I really enjoy today's subtitle, since I just saw a great production of Julius Caesar over the weekend!

I know others have said it, but the openings and riddles are really cool.

Thanks Inky!

Just dropped by to say that you've been runing a great game here, Hinck. Love the MOCs, jokes, and riddles (though I haven't been able to solve any of them, please put the answers up in the conclusion default_laugh_new.gif).

Also, thanks for the shout-out(s) to Werewolf. I'm sure Harriet would appreciate them, too. default_tong.gif

Thanks Jim! Sometimes I feel like I'm doing it right, like I'm a good host, photographer, writer. Other times I just feel like jack-of-all-trades, master of none.

I, too would like to praise your game. I've been following the game since the start, and I really enjoyed it.

Looking forward to more games from you! (I hope I can play in them!)

I wonder who this 'someone' is.

Yeah, def's rants were pretty entertaining.

Hinck, you're doing a great job on this game! I really like the photography (especially that shot with Booker and Helen in the trash bins), and the flavor text is great!

Thanks for the game, I'm sorry for being the elephant in the room, being a Hippo notwithstanding.

I had to do a fair amount of soul searching after that, about where that temper came from. I don't think I've been that pissed off since high school. After the earthquake and tsunami happened, I was at a loss. But, I have a job and a family, so you carry on. I'm a teacher, and part of my job is to be smiling and happy everyday there, and tell people everything is okay. At the same time, Western news is panic inducing, and I had a lot of correspondence asking if I was okay which I needed to reply to. On top of that, my parents are still deeply worried about the nuclear situation, and wish I went back to Canada, rather than moved to Hokkaido.

So all through that, I had to try to deal with people telling me Helen Hippo was suspicious. My heart wasn't into it at all. I had planned to drop out, but since I played aggressively on day one, I had built up a number of relationships, and it would have been very difficult to transfer them to a replacement player. So I stuck through it.

Sorry to throw so much hostility at people, but I can honestly say, "It's not you, it's me."

Good luck to those remaining, and I'll kill anyone who revives Helen again

def, thank you so much for playing. I can vouch for def's soul searching when it came to stepping out of the game. This was a very hard time for him and I think the game served as an escape and a punching bag. I hope everyone who received any insults will give him the benefit of the doubt that the country he lives in was literally crumbling around him as the game progressed. While I'm not sure I would call you the Towniest of Town, I will say your game play was fantastic and I'm so happy you were part of this experience. More of my opinion on your overall play will be revealed at the end, but I'm very happy you stuck with it. You're a great mafia player and I can't wait to play with you in the next one. :sweet: You certainly were the focus of some of the more interesting things that happened with my game mechanics.

And thanks to the insulted for taking it all with a grain of salt, especially Dr. Fuckwit Professor Flitwick, who took quite a beating. Way to keep your confidence up despite the attacks. I hope you realize the stress def was under and I appreciate not turning those digs into flame wars.

I'm not the best host on the block, but I'm enjoying this particular experience a ton, and I'm so happy that you guys are all good sports and are making this a hell of an experience. :sweet:

I'm not the best host on the block

The chopping block?

Anybody have the axe? :sweet:

I'm really enjoying this game and it's just great, to simply put it.

There is no problem here; def personally apologised for his outburst in a PM, which I thought was commendable. But nevertheless, I appreciate your thanks and gratitude, and I perfectly understand how life can get to all of us, and that we all deal wit it in one way or another.

Plus, I quite like the kickname 'Dr. Fuckwit'. Sounds rather prestigious... compared to my other nicknames at least!

I got an axe... and a screwdriver, spear, sword, lance, push broom, blaster, and best of all, the Electric Hairdryer of Doom!

Take your pick...

Sometimes, the day conclusions are the best part of the days. Keep up the great work Hinck.

Kudos to def as well, for sticking with this through it all.

Since we're discussing a mafia, let me hop on a band-wagon.

Def, you have legit the best excuse ever to be pissy, and all things considered, you were still very controlled. I guarantee you that no one took anything to heart. I <3 you, thanks so much for sticking with it.

I want to apologize for not being able to contribute much this weekend, I'm going on a small vacation. Friday around 3 pm will be the last time I'll be able to write something in the daytime thread and the next time will be Sunday evening late. I'll be on the lookout for an internet café. Sorry guys, didn't think this game would last so long.

Thanks, badboy. Do your best to check in. Otherwise, have fun.

I've got yet another weekend of traveling ahead of me. I won't have access to the Internet starting Friday afternoon but I'll be back Sunday afternoon.

This is my last trip for a while, I promise!
