Hinckley Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 Attention all players of The Forest: It is very clear when a day is going to end. I've stuck to a schedule and am trying to stagger the start times for time zones. I know everyone is in different time zones in this game and am trying to accommodate. Please do me and the other players a favor and try to get organized and anticipate getting your night actions in. You will always have 24 hours from the close of a day thread, but if the actions come in sooner, I can keep the game moving faster. It'd be great if you can plan ahead or if you're working with someone or waiting for advice or feedback, look forward, especially on days when the voting happens quickly. I would greatly appreciate you guys putting that extra effort in. Late night actions will no longer be accepted. Those who plain forget to send me their night actions or any communication concerning their intent will be mod-killed. Welcome to All-Stars, bitches. Thank you.
def Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I was a bit worried my loyalty was going to be hidden, or worse, Hinck had created a stupid mafia role where I was secretly scum without me knowing... But now all Helen's life has been bared open for all to see, and... Where's a middle-finger emoticon when you need it
iamded Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Attention attention, something something don't forget... iamded flashes back to a certain night in a certain Applesauce Mafia... iamded tattoos a reminder on the inside of his eyelids...
Professor Flitwick Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Unfortunetly I, like badboy, will be away until the 3rd; I'm away visiting several cousins. I should be able to get on Eurobricks (if the spending cuts haven't further hindered them, that is), but less often than usual.
Scouty Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I, unlike the others, will be away indefinitely and wont have access to the internet for a really long time. I, too, thought the game would be over before I left, but it's just how it's going to happen Just kidding , though I will be pretty busy in the following days.
Hinckley Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 It seems like we have four people going out of town during the next couple of game days. I asked for thirty days when the sign-up thread went up on February 28. The game started March 7. I understand things come up and this is a longer game than the last two. Another reason to not have revivals. However, the game will not pause and the rules still stand. If a day goes by and you do not post in the thread, you will be killed off.
CMP Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 However, the game will not pause and the rules still stand. If a day goes by and you do not post in the thread, you will be killed off. Or replaced by a reserve? Gotta ask. This has been fun to follow so far. But I have an assumption everyone's gonna hate you by the end, Hinckley.

But I have an assumption everyone's gonna hate you by the end, Hinckley. I'd only replace with a reserve if a player dropped out. Breaking the rules means death. And I have a feeling that I will be burned at the stake like the witch that I am when this game is over. Ooops.
Pandora Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 But I have an assumption everyone's gonna hate you by the end, Hinckley. That might not be the best way to get placed as a reserve!
CMP Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 That might not be the best way to get placed as a reserve! Shddap, Serpent-food. It'll be nice to see all the night actions unravelled when this is over. Right now I'm confused as hell.
Walter Kovacs Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 And I have a feeling that I will be burned at the stake like the witch that I am when this game is over. I've had my pitchfork and torch ready for weeks now.
Shadows Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 I've had my pitchfork and torch ready for weeks now. Torch, huh? Are you trying to hint at something?
Pandora Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 How many panda-related deaths can there be within 24 hours? (three, evidently. So far.) That nice Mr Shadows, it's such a shame he keeps dying
Hinckley Posted April 2, 2011 Author Posted April 2, 2011 How many panda-related deaths can there be within 24 hours? (three, evidently. So far.) That was in your honor.
Tamamono Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Poor Shadows, this is what? His fifth death in this game?
Walter Kovacs Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Torch, huh? Are you trying to hint at something? Considering I'm already dead and a confirmed Villager, no. And for that comment, I hope you die another time in this game.
CMP Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 (edited) Poor Shadows, this is what? His fifth death in this game? Fourth. Unless his self-esteem's death is counted. Then, yea, five. Edited April 2, 2011 by CallMePie
Walter Kovacs Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Fourth. Unless his self-esteem's death is counted. Then, yea, five. Actually, I think it is five. He got dissassembled start of Day 4 by Mr. Brown Wand, revived, convicted and killed Day 4, came back as a Tree Stump, exploded, came back as the Panda, killed, revived, then killed again. Pretty soon he's going to be like the whale in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. He'll come back only to say "Not again."

He got dissassembled start of Day 4 by Mr. Brown Wand, revived, convicted and killed Day 4, came back as a Tree Stump, exploded, came back as the Panda, killed, revived, then killed again. Oh. Then six if you count his self-esteem. Poor Shadows. Hinckley's got a giant weiner right in front of his face, and he just can't get it.

Get it right.
Walter Kovacs Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 The tulip said "Not again." The whale wondered if the ground was friendly. Get it right. It's been decades since I read the book. Give me credit for knowing that the whale said anything.
Hinckley Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 It's been decades since I read the book. Give me credit for knowing that the whale said anything. Neither one of them said anything. They thought it.
Scouty Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 The tulip said "Not again." The whale wondered if the ground was friendly. Get it right. What's the point? I'm just a manically depressed android.
