Brickdoctor Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Correct, I didn't think anyone would think to check my humble flickr page I know for next time though I have you as a Contact, so when I went through all the other new stuff from my Contacts it was there. Okay, here's mine. The posing of the character is limited by LDD, but it should be fairly easy: Quote

chucker Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 All right, this one should be a bit easy. Please ignor the brackground, I was having problems with LDD. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Please ignor the brackground, I was having problems with LDD. Switch back to build mode and use Tools->Take a Screenshot, Cmd+K, or Ctrl+K to take a screenshot with a transparent background. No guesses from me. I guess I don't watch very many movies. Quote

Artanis I Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 At last, one I guess immediately and noone else has already answered. But alas, I have nothing ready and no time to make anything in the next few days... so... I will leave it for the next person. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 (edited) Tough luck, Artanis. If I get it right I'll post another really easy one so you can try to get that one, if you want. 2001: A Space Odyssey? Edited April 18, 2011 by Brickdoctor Quote
Fallenangel Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 2001: A Space Odyssey? That's what I thought too, but the proportions aren't 1:4:9... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 (edited) That's what I thought too, but the proportions aren't 1:4:9... ...so apparently your love of dimensional accuracy extends to other sci-fi themes. It looks pretty close, though, .8:4:10, though I can't really confirm the last number due to the lighting.EDIT: Actually, if you count the studs which are a half plate tall (not including the 'LEGO' on each stud), the ratio becomes 1:4:10. EDIT: Actually, if you count the studs which are a half plate tall (not including the 'LEGO' on each stud), the ratio becomes 1:4:10. Of course. After all, the 1:4:9 ratio is what distinguishes TMA-1 from just any old black thing. (I thought it was a rock.) Eh, 1:4:10 is close enough (though Legostein got it perfect). XimenaPaulina Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 That's what I thought too, but the proportions aren't 1:4:9... Very classy. One more retaliatory sarcastic comment like that and you'll find yourself being the indirect cause of the closure of this thread. Let's keep this thread clean guys, no need for such off-topic (with previous bad history), argument-inviting comments here. Don't spoil the fun people are having here. Thanks. Quote
