I have found where the names come from. :classic:

Maybe someone else found it already but now I'm sure of it.

They come from the initials of our names.

Ow, I'm good!

And Hinckley, Not even you can stand the power of the combined mafia students!

Hate to break it to you, but using the players' initials is a common way of naming the characters in EB Mafia games.

The answer I was looking for is that each character has a specific nationality. The first names are used in the respective countries (with the exception of Panda, which is more of a nickname anyway), and the family names are all cities or locations in each country.

I kind of expected that, especially since my character's last name is Toscana.

Just wondering, but why was Day 1 ended a few hours early? Even though we had nine votes, some of us were still a little unsure, and I was going to speak with RvB privately before the day ended.

Like I explained when the voting began, you cannot take back votes once the conviction is reached. Nine votes were cast, so a conviction was made, and that ended the day.

The conclusion of Day One and an explanation to the night phase will be up later today.

Okay. Sorry, must've missed that.

Please check the end of the Day One topic for the spine-chilling conclusion for the day as well as important instructions for the night phase.

Day Two will be up 48 hours from now.

Although some names like Darwin and Ennis for example have other things they are associated with (Charles Darwin, furniture store) that it was a little tougher to find their places of origin.

Well after talking privately with RvB you guys made the wrong decssision.

This is playing the game outside the day thread and not allowed per rule number 6.

6. Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game.

Also, since you're not a player you shouldn't make comments like that at all. Not that a comment like that would be okay coming from a player, but from a non-player it's even worse.

Agreed. Also since you aren't a player, I'm not going to take what you say as 'fact' until I see what happens on Day 2. You could be right, and you could be wrong... I'm not saying you're a liar, but due to the fact that you are 'new' and have limited access to profile information of yourself and others.

Please don't pay RvB/macroxhardcore any more attention. Carry on with the game and have fun.

I agree with Hinck, let's just play the game. And what a fun game it is!

Yeah, the storyline and photos that go with it are great  The shot of Mr. Crusoe with his arms against the window, realising his beloved Sunday is pinned to a palm tree is a classic that I will always remember

I can only imagine the amount of work you've put into this game, Sandy, so thanks heaps!

I agree, great graphics work.

Anybody else here think that the days move a lot slower when you're playing the game? Normally when you're doing something you enjoy, time flies, but waiting for the next day is agony.

I agree. During Werewolf and Bloodbrick the days would come and go regularly. It's really agonizing to wait for the next Day while I'm participating, but I know that the 48-hour night phase will give people time to get in night actions and for Sandy to take great pictures!

You mean slower you're NOT playing the game right? But yeah I agree 48 hours seem too long to wait, but let's not forget it gives our gracious host the time he needs to set-up everything, which he has done a wonderful job at so far! And it also gives me my needed break to rest my bad and fake French accent.
