Sorry, didn't realize we were doing that.

A little question, how did those grades work again? Do you get grades on how far you get or how good you play?

There are only two grades, Passed and Failed, and they are given based on the host's opinion of how you played. RvB failed for poor sportsmanship and not understanding game mechanics.

Ah thanks, I knew why RvB got his grades and that we all passed exept if we got an F. But because of the F I thought it was possible to pass in different grades like an A or a D, you know.

Thanks for clearing this up!

I had to change the grades to this current system, because I got feedback that it wasn't fair to rank you guys with school grades. So you will only get a "passed" or "failed" grade, plus a verbal evaluation at the end of the game.

Mafia Student question: Once the majority vote has been reached, votes can no longer be retracted (unvoted) right?

Right, because once a majority is reached, the day ends (even though the thread may not be closed yet).

3. A game day will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The day will end when a majority vote has been reached. After the day has concluded, a night stage will commence, which will last a maximum of 48 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 24 hours of the night stage.

Yes, the day should've ended before those unvotes started rolling in. Sorry I wasn't around then, but I had minor issues like sleep and work to deal with. Anyway, the unvotes do not count, and the Day Two topic has now been officially closed.

The conclusion to the day will be up later today, but you can already start sending in your night actions for Night 2.

Do we get a nice little tag if we pass? :sweet:

Just kidding, but it would be funny.

No, I'm pretty sure that the Mafia tag (the one with the pistol and the "M") requires you to play well in at least four games (hosting or playing).

Hey Sandy, do the winners of this game still get their names put down under the "survived one game" section of the "Mafia Survivors" list? :look:

I need Dragonator to confirm this, but I can't see why not. Even though this is a simpler game than the previous ones, it doesn't make this any easier to win.

By the way, Day Two's conclusion is now up, so don't miss it!

Well I think that this is the first ever Mafia School game, so it's possible we may get a tag for passing one game. The Reviewers Academy get tags (the gold, silver or bronze "R" medals), so I think it's possible we'll get a medal depending on how well we've played.

Well, the earlier games (Western Mafia and Roman Mafia) were pretty simple too.

ahh.. Forgot about that... then you should add my vote back in, as my unvote wouln't have counted either... The only unvote that would count is dr. jones' but, he re-voted it back, therefore nullifying his unvote.

Haha, I thought Mr. Crusoe was about to torture Raquel with a banana

 So did I.

Great job on the pictures again, Sandy. Question: If everybody who has night actions sends them in early, would Day 3 start early?

Posted

Dang, I can't believe that the unvotes did not count after a conviction! I guess that we will have to remember that for later days.

 It certainly looks that way! Unfortunately for Raquel, she gets a wrench instead.

Mistakes are made and lessons have been learned. :sweet:

Next time (If I do get to join again), I'll try to last longer.

I think you just took a little too long to send out that last batch of PMs. If they had come before we'd reached a conviction, I'm pretty sure you'd still be alive.
