Sandy Posted March 26, 2011 Author Posted March 26, 2011 I'm a little pressed for time, so I did not add any flavor text to start this day's voting, but hopefully you'll forgive me. Anyway, it's time to vote again! Choose wisely...
Gregorovich Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 I see that today it only takes 5 votes for a conviction. Does that mean if someone gets a penalty for something they'll automatically be convicted?
smittyfan Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 I'm a little pressed for time, so I did not add any flavor text to start this day's voting, but hopefully you'll forgive me. Anyway, it's time to vote again! Choose wisely... No worries. Nice to see the voting's opened, but we're still just conferring about who to vote off the island. Hey, kinda like Survivor, except without the gross stuff to eat... I see that today it only takes 5 votes for a conviction. Does that mean if someone gets a penalty for something they'll automatically be convicted? If that's the case, then we'll need to be extra-careful to not screw up.
Tamamono Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 No worries. Nice to see the voting's opened, but we're still just conferring about who to vote off the island. Hey, kinda like Survivor, except without the gross stuff to eat... Yeah, this game is kind of like Survivor, but here we stick mafia goons' heads on sticks and dead bodies turn up in pools and lifeguard chairs.
Brickdoctor Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Yeah, this game is kind of like Survivor, but here we stick mafia goons' heads on sticks and dead bodies turn up in pools and lifeguard chairs. Plus we have the Face-ea- okay, I won't say it again. Why is it that so many people are sleeping today?
smittyfan Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Plus we have the Face-ea- okay, I won't say it again. Why is it that so many people are sleeping today? Yeah, come on people and WAKE UP!!!!!!! THERE'S A KILLER OUT THERE ON THE LOOSE!!! Did I mention the killer strikes IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHEN PEOPLE ARE SLEEPING?!?!? Seriously? Some of you are still asleep? Yeah, this game is kind of like Survivor, but here we stick mafia goons' heads on sticks and dead bodies turn up in pools and lifeguard chairs. On second thought, that's doesn't compare to eating gross stuff. It's all about trying to survive another day... To live to lynch off the Mafia Scum, or not to live... Wait, how did Shakespear get here?
Peanuts Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Yeah, come on people and WAKE UP!!!!!!! THERE'S A KILLER OUT THERE ON THE LOOSE!!! Did I mention the killer strikes IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHEN PEOPLE ARE SLEEPING?!?!? Seriously? Some of you are still asleep? How does it come I just had to think at Freddy Krueger. Would be an interesting idea anyway, a Nightmare On Elm Street-mafia game...

To live to lynch off the Mafia Scum, or not to live... Wait, how did Shakespear get here? Yeah, but how can you eat any "stuff" (good or bad) when, right outside the window, there are severed heads rotting on poles? To live, or not to live: that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler for the Mafia to suffer The torturous fruits of an angry lynch mob Or to take arms against them, And by opposing stick their heads on poles? To die: to sleep; No more; and by a sleep to say we end The faceless lifeguards and bloated Brazilians That the mafia hath done, 'tis a consummation Devoutly to be wish'd. And so on and so forth. How does it come I just had to think at Freddy Krueger. Would be an interesting idea anyway, a Nightmare On Elm Street-mafia game... That actually sounds like a good idea for one of Shadows' bloodbaths.

I admit I haven't much the stomach to eat anything, and our chef is gone anyways. So that's how Shakespear got on this island.
Tamamono Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I admit I haven't much the stomach to eat anything, and our chef is gone anyways. So that's how Shakespear got on this island. I know, kind of a bad idea voting off the chef first, huh?
smittyfan Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I know, kind of a bad idea voting off the chef first, huh? Yeah, too bad. Unfortunately sometimes sacrifices have to be made, and at the time it was the most logical choice. Reminds me of an old Monopoly computer game... Whenever you had to return houses to the bank, the banker would reply in this sarcastic tone 'Sometimes sacrifices have to be made.'
Sandy Posted March 27, 2011 Author Posted March 27, 2011 PLEASE STOP PLAYING THE GAME IN THIS TOPIC! Do not talk about your opinions about the votings, the roles, the killings, what was done right and what was done wrong, or anything like that. All that talk should be posted into the Day-topic, not here. Thank you!

Can we talk about Shakespearian claw monsters who will fight an army of seagulls, banana's, sea monsters and Figurative Suspence?

Gregorovich Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I never even got to defend myself! Well, at least I managed to survive until (hopefully) the second last day. You'll most likely get the last scum tomorrow, although I still have no idea who it is. I had a great time playing, and I'll stayed tuned in to see what happened. Thanks, everyone!
Brickdoctor Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I had a great time playing, and I'll stayed tuned in to see what happened. Thanks, everyone! Thanks for playing with us. Sorry again that you had to be the one lynched. If you're Innocent, we'll win it for you and Claudia!*squawk!* *peck* Ouch! Okay, we'll win it for the Face-eating Seagulls, too.
Sandy Posted March 28, 2011 Author Posted March 28, 2011 The conclusion to Day Five is finally up! Enjoy (even if it is a bit on the short side...).
Tamamono Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 The conclusion to Day Five is finally up! Enjoy (even if it is a bit on the short side...). Wow, a feather, I really didn't see that coming. However, I think you should've used figurative suspense on him instead.
Gregorovich Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 My form of torture was pretty unusual and very different from the rest, so I like it. But it means I can't have a picture of my corpse as my avatar . Once again, thanks everyone for making this game so fun, and I'll definetely play in other Mafia games if I get the chance.
Mrlegoninja Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 This is fun to watch beginners. He was tickled, and he laughed so hard and long that his heart gave out as it couldn't pump blood fast enough. I could see that as a consequence for being ticklish.

Mrlegoninja Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 The poor Personal Trainer never stood a chance... Its quite weird actually, as he excersized daily and built up his cardiac muscles, but yet...
dr jones Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Wow, a feather, I really didn't see that coming. However, I think you should've used figurative suspense on him instead. Not even mister Crusoe can control the mighty power of THE Figurative suspence. If not the scum then that Will bring him down
