maydayartist Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Id just liketo say that this is a fantastic build! Its just so different to most other castle mocs out there, which adds to its greatness. Everyone builds in greys, blacks and browns, its nice to see a change and the colour really stands out. I can see you have put a lot of time and thought into this, with all those different levels and towers. You have also put a lot of effort into your minifigs as well, which all look very original. Great work all round! In the world of Lego castles, this is one of the best original fantasy builds ive seen! Nice one He brings it to the point! As I say it in the other thread, it is very special and fits perfect the drow and their dark, mighty and strange life. A few years ago, my ex play a drow at a fantasy role play game. She has to read books of the drow and say it to me. Your creations give my mind a picture of it. Very well done. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Amazing, truly an amazing build Angeli! Not only is this radical massive castle build extremely well built, but you also take the extra effort coming up with very unique and excellent custom minifigures to populate your Drow City, which is really very impressive. Princess Muttonchops Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Awesome work Angeli, R A Salvatore would surely be impressed. I think the hazmat guy is very well placed too. Quote
Donut Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 This is some amazing stuff Angeli! I really enjoy looking at your rendition of the sinister Drows' undercities. From the comparison photo, I really got a sense of how big this creation is - it's huge! I think you really captured the size and elegance of the dark elf capital. Quote
Hoboman Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Nice mini-figures. I really like how you did the legs for Isair. Using the backwards legs to give it hight and depth was a nice touch. The other two are good as well. Good Job. Daniel Quote
Erynion Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 This is just way too massive to not comment on... I like the building architecture, though I can't say I appreciate the colours. Something darker than red would have seemed more appropriate to me. Not that I've build anything better... Also, as far as being ELVEN, the whole idea didn't seem very ELVEN to me - I'm more of a Lord-of-the-Ringsy kind of guy, so the idea of Elves living underground and having such square-looking architecture just doesn't seem quite right to me. But obviously other fantasies do things differently, and that's okay too... Quote
joshuaj Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 i love some of the architecture details you have used. the swaying of the black pieces in the tower is beautiful. and i love the horns inside the window. I have personally read all the Drizzt books up to 2005 and this does put some nice pictures back in my head that Salvatore was writing about Quote
prvi svog imena Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 I love the waterfall, dropping to the ground, and the pond inside the walls. Also the arena is just fabulous. And what is that spell the cleric is casting? Seven eyes? Quote
