Tobbe Arnesson Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 CopMike has gone to the trouble of arranging so many prizes for us The tin foil-hat theory is that TLG gave him complete 10219 sets for this raffle and he keeps the trains to himself. Quote
JopieK Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Well here is my container, it is called a "flat rack". A special Maersk version for heavy loads. It is modelled to look like one of these (only mine is the 20ft version and this is a 40ft one). Maersk has those containers as you can see! (link to a site with a lot of container info) The Erdinger guy is already present. He just put a fust of fine Bavarian (german) beer there. The party will start when the train arrives. The stickers are computer cut vinyl ones just like LEGO uses. B.t.w. I just could remove those L-shaped plates but the original containers are exactly like the size of this container so I think the rules should allow it. So just in case... But this one is not suitable when the train arrives :) Quote

Nebsirob Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Here's my entry: The Dwarf-Container Due to the fact that most of their customers were unsatisfied with their shipping times, our brave dwarfs had to adept to modern types of transportation. Therefore they needed to construct a (wooden) container: However, since the dwarfs are too greedy to pay for transport-insurance, they always have a guard on board (who can only just look): Quote
Rufus Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 We all know animals are routinely carted around in containers, right? Well, our furry Fabuland friends must travel in style! Ricky and the Walrus therefore present to you the Emerald Overnight: Animals must have only the finest comfort and refreshments during their transportation: here you can see Rufie Rabbit and Pandora Panda enjoying a mug of ale and a glass of wine respectively. The roof is removable, just like the System figures' equivalent. Hope you like it! Thanks again Rick for inspiring this. Quote
RubeusHagrid Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 (edited) There will be 15 prizes , each containing all of the 3 minifigs, like this: They will be raffled out between all of you that have entered the competition using the rules above. So everybody has an equal chance regardless of "quality" - so don´t miss this opportunity to get figs from a $120 set for free shipped to you ! Now get your fingers into that pile of bricks on your dinner table and start building! And honestly ...........- isn´t life here at Eurobricks pretty sweet ?!!! Do the prize minifigs come with the orange vest? Edited March 12, 2011 by RubeusHagrid Quote

RubeusHagrid Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 What's the point of having power if you don't abuse it? I'll second that Quote
Rick Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Thanks again Rick for inspiring this. That's amazing. I'm glad this is a raffle and not a competition though. This certainly looks more comfortable than being smacked with a frying pan indeed. And Mrs. Panda also looks a lot better without her face rubbed off. Quote
ildefonso Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 (edited) Lots of nice containers posted so far! Here is my entry: An Octan container: You must be careful when handling Octan products: Thanks CopMike for the raffle! Ildefonso Edited March 12, 2011 by ildefonso Quote
preterosso Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 A contest with no talent required: I have a shot! Here's a table-scrap with leftover Creator house pieces -- it's like home, but on the road! Shutters close for minimal overhang, but then you wouldn't be able to see your friendly neighbor inside. . . . Thanks for the chance to play! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 hi, I’ve been around the world. I’ve seen a million containers. Ain’t one of them got what my container she’s got Possibly the oldest you may find... It comes directly from Ancient Egypt... and it's a dangerous one... Don't leave it opened too much ... or the curse will hit you This is absolutely awesome! I like this theme! Quote
F0NIX Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Well, I just had to make a quick one here too :) It looks like a container at least? Sadly it can not hold big items inside... but the rules did not say how large items it should be able to store :) Quote

Syn Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I threw this together real quick. I loved trains back in the day, just can't seem to make them fit in my Modular Town. Quote

Camoran Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Here's my entry. Hm....it doesn't really look like a cubic container Because it is a transformable Buffalo! The idea is from the mecha of Power Rangers. I used to build the red dinosaur but I ran out the red bricks Quote
