pong0814 Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Should I bother preparing my sleigh for next week? What does your calendar say? View on Flickr Quote
Masked Builder Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Very fitting for the time frame. Quote
Amset-Rah Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Pardon the pun, but here's possibly the most hardcore Grateful Dead fan around. Quote
JeagerEX Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 GB agreed with the new mastermind, Lord Ivan von Brickroot. Quote
Amset-Rah Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 (edited) Time for some funny business Edited January 10, 2013 by Amset-Rah Quote
JeagerEX Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Haha!! That's what they got from facing the power of Ivan von Brickroot. GB: Wait come back here Lord Ivan!! Ivan von Brickroot: I'll face my revenge of Lord Ivan von Brickroot! Hahahahaha!! Quote
Plissken Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Not fitting the "funny" category, but I really like this combination. Enjoy. Quote
Vindicare Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Nice pics, Artanis. I really like that second pic. It really reminds me of a troll that I pictured in my mind as a kid. Quote
Artanis I Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I thought that the monster head was a really good match for the torso+legs, some very reusable parts there. Quote
Amset-Rah Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Nice combination of parts for that orc, Artanis! Love the graveyard pic as well. Quote
Oky Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Nice pictures everyone! Although I'm afraid I don't understand yours, JeagerEX. Since I'm starting to run low on ideas for licensed theme funnies, I decided to do some with the CMFs. So here's some fun with minifigs and parts from Series 9. The first one isn't strictly a CMF-related funny, and it's a bit naughty, but I didn't know where else to post it, so here you go: Andrea's Bunny House by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr James Bored by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Cleopatra's Husband by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Quote

TheLegoDr Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 I think that 'Til death is the best photo I've seen in a long time. Everyone has some great pictures here. But that one really stands out for some reason. Everyone, keep up the great work! Quote
Oky Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Indeed, a very clever picture as it is literally parted into a life and a death half! Nicely executed too. If there is anything I would have improved it would be to take the zombie shot at a lower angle so that it matches that of the other photo. Also, I think the groom could do with some more zombifying. For example, you could have used the legs and hat from Mr. Good & Evil. But it's very nice as it is! Quote
Chocolatecake Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Wow! This is one of the best pictures I have seen Remus_lupin. Quote
Amset-Rah Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Excellent pics, Oky! Same to you, Lupin. That's a phenomenal piece of work, if a little morbid (Not that I'm complaining) And speaking of groaners, here's another one: IT workers: If a vampire and a horde of zombies can survive the sun and you can't, there's a problem. Remus_Lupin Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 Thanks for the comments all! Indeed, a very clever picture as it is literally parted into a life and a death half! Nicely executed too. If there is anything I would have improved it would be to take the zombie shot at a lower angle so that it matches that of the other photo. Does it not? I can't spot any discrepancies myself, but I'm glad I don't because it's way too late to change, the setup was too cumbersome Also, I think the groom could do with some more zombifying. For example, you could have used the legs and hat from Mr. Good & Evil. But it's very nice as it is! Yeah I did think this at the time too, but unfortunately I couldn't find a way of zombifying him. I thought about using the torso from the Groom from the Monster Figthers 'Zombies' set, but decided against it. I didn't think about Mr. Good & Evil, but don't have him yet anyway! Quote
Oky Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 That's hilarious, Amset-Ra! Does it not? I can't spot any discrepancies myself, but I'm glad I don't because it's way too late to change, the setup was too cumbersome Well, you can see the top of the studs on the baseplate in both shots. If this was really a reflection, you wouldn't be able to see the top in the reflection. But that's okay, as I said before, it looks great the way it is. And I agree, it wouldn't have looked as good with the zombie groom's torso. Quote
