DoubleT Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 So... This game is hard to say... But Im sure Portugal and Mexico will look at the game closely.. Quote
xwingyoda Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Loool are we creating a thread by game now :-P I sincerely hope Argentina will CRUSH the oranges !! I totally dislike that team and the fact that they play really rough doesn't make it for me !! Anyway both teams are nearly qualified and I can't wait for Portugal to send the oranges back home !! Hope this will be a nice game ;-) *yoda* Quote
snefroe Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 i think argentina will win by a small margin, but since both teams are already going to the next level, we may be seeing a great game with lots of great actions, but it's not impossible that both teams are just happy with a draw... perhaps both trainers will keep their major players off the field so they can rest, like Robbe... xwingyoda Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 I think that Argentina will push like crazy to avoid Portugal !! Mexico will be a piece of cake for them !! Haven't checked the Team composition but I hope that Crespo will play and score !! Vamos Argentina !! *yoda* Quote

DoubleT Posted June 21, 2006 Author Posted June 21, 2006 Well, one of them meets Mexico... And Mexico is a team that is best wile playing good teams, and worst against bad teams, so i dont think it would be a good thing to get Mexico for either Holland and Argentina.. But i do think a Argentina Mexico wmatch would be fast, and great to watch.. Quote
xwingyoda Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 See why I despise that orange team ?? Van Persie lost the ball and created a nasty foul !! Than on an argentinan action, foul again !! G I would give loads of yellow cards !! Oh well, lets hope for a ref that sanctions all those crap fouls !! *yoda* Quote
Aredhel Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 I hope for Argentina!!! They have a really great team! VAMOS!!! Mucha suerte! Quote
Jipay Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 I hope France to lose against Togo, I don't really care about the rest :d Quote

Apart from that, look at this Beautifull Argentina team with a MAGNIFICENT Messi !! Crap, Serbia leads 2-1 !! Go Ivory Coast for the honour hehe !! EDIT: Its one of the rare 0-0 in this Worl Cup hehe Argentina finishes 1st and will not play Portugal on Sunday night !! Oh boy I can't wait for Argentina/Germany in 1/4th !!! Ivory Coast is still playing and is winning 3-2 for now !! Go Ivory Coast !! *yoda* Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 I'm proud of the way my team in orange played tonight *slaps Kiku a high five* Quote
snefroe Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 I'm proud of the way my team in orange played tonight *slaps Kiku a high five* hm... Aad De Mos, who is a rather important name in the Benelux and dutch, wasn't happy with the performance at all and neither was I, but that's what happens if you get replacements on the field... Let's face it, they were trying to save energy for the next tough game... Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 I agree with Sne. They played terrible. Argentina had way more chances while we had just one, aside from some free kicks. The only reason it ended up as a draw was because Argentina was obviously already sparing their powers in the second half. Looking at the overall dutch performance, I think they might beat Portugal (but only since they played crappy too) and likely won't get any further. And yes, I hope France loses :-P. And else, I hope South Korea will make it to the 1/8 finals. And I hope Australia gets through as well :-D Quote
