I think it was already said, but were was the Lakota heading?

If I remember right, it was coming from England straight to Alabatha. I don't know if we were ever told where it's next destination was.

I'd like to search the crew quarters. If there are clues to be found, then living quarters are the most likely place to find them.

I would like to disagree, the Command Bridge may have items the normal crew wont have, perhaps some orders from the USSR?

My thoughts exactly, although I think this depends on who is scum, the captain or the crew member.

I'm not saying one of them has to be scum, but if none is, we won't find any evidence, of course.

And since we will check the whole ship, it doesn't matter where we start.

One more question: Where did Ted's wife live? Did they share the captain's cabin?

I'd like to open these crates, check what the net's holding down, and open the barrel of seawater, serching for potentially important objects.

I'll get off my lazy megablocks, and help Fields.

I'd like to help Fields in his search, as to speed things along.

Officer Fields checks the barrels at the front of the ship. They contain rain water, as well as a small telescope and a small box. Opening the box reveals a novel. Harrison then checks the barrel of seawater, but discovers there's nothing inside that's interesting. Ralph then goes through the two crates, and finds them filled with French Wine.

"I sometimes read up here when I'm keeping watch." Frankie says.

I'll vote we start the search with the bridge.

I'd also like to visit the bridge.

What would you like to search first?

One more question: Where did Ted's wife live? Did they share the captain's cabin?

Yes they did.

:look:Who are those guys in the background?

What would you like to search first?

I would like to check the maps -- are there any notes, marks, in the vicinity of Alabatha?

I'd like to take each bottle out and hold them up to the sun, to make sure nothing is hidden in them.

I could've sworn you said you we're illiterate. How can you read, yet you were unable to write your name?

Good point.

I'd like to know the book's name, and if there's a bookmark in it. If yes, I'd like to flip it open at the bookmark and read what is said there.

I'd like to have a detailed description of the interior of the bridge.

They would be the series 4 Artist and Sailor that I left there accidentally... :look:

There's an "X" marked on the port of Alabatha, and a dotted line leading from their original port, in Virginia, to Alabatha.

I'd like to take each bottle out and hold them up to the sun, to make sure nothing is hidden in them.

There's nothing hidden in the bottles of wine.

I didn't know that, but oops. Disregard what I said about that being Frankie's book:

"Sorry, I misspoke. I meant that it's a fellow crewman's novel." Frankie says.

Good point.

There's nothing on the cover of the book, and there's no bookmark in the book.

There's a large chart tacked onto the wall of the bridge, with a dot marking Alabatha. I believe you've already noticed the map below the chart on the wall. There's a sextant on the ships wheel, and an accelerator next to the wheel so the captain can control the speed of the ship. There's also a small bin near the back door of the bridge, that leads out onto the balcony.

Is there any way to test the wine for poison? If not, I'd like to head up to the bridge and help search up there.

Your men are doin' a great job, Garrison.

Indeed they are, I am glad that at least some of this town appreciates the work they're doing.

Oh... wait. Honestly, with all the sarcasm being thrown at us anyone could interpret that as a message that you don't want the military here. Obviously, you'd prefer people who operate under "shoot first, ask questions later" to be in charge of this situation.

There's also a small bin near the back door of the bridge, that leads out onto the balcony.

I'll go join the group in the bridge. Then I shall empty the bin and make a note of anything that may have been inside.

I'd like to know if the chart can be removed from the wall without using too much violence. If yes, I'd like to do know if there's something behind it.

Are there any other dots or marks beyond Alabatha at the chart?

I would like to open the book and make sure there is nothing hidden inside. I would also like to check the wheel housing and make sure there are no hidden compartments.

You could taste every bottle, but that's not a good idea. Not without complicated lab equipment.

There's a compass, a few maps, a half eaten turkey sandwich, which has gone bad, and a book on the Long Island Sound.

Krista takes the chart off the wall, but there's nothing behind it. There's also no other dots or marks on the map.

There's nothing hidden inside the book, and there's no hidden compartments in the wheel housing.

What do we know about the operational status of the ship? Where did the fire take place?

You'd have to check. The fire took place in the engine room.

I'd like to go around checking for false rooms and walls.

After eleven chapters, Stevie finally finds a false wall in the cargo-bay.

Posted

Have some patience Maxwell, no need to push a kid to the floor to push open that false wall he's been looking for for five months for eleven chapters for a few days. Relax.

Does anyone in town have the equipment to test for poison? Or am I wasting my time? If I'm not wasting my time and someone does have the equipment to test for poison, I'd like to take a bottle home and clearly mark it "DO NOT DRINK".

Congrats for your find, Stevie. Finally.

Before following the others into the secret room, I'd like to check, if the trashed compass works and if there's any boomark in the book, flip up a random page, read, shake it, look at the cover, the language it's written in, the writer, and if there are any marks on or in the book. Typical book stuff. And I'd like to ask Frankie if he knows why someone would put a book and a compass into the trash?
