Admiral Ron Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Actually, I meant that they bribed him with the money, to kill with the pistol. Ok, that makes much more sense. What I am wondering is what kind of miracles could Dr Loyd's father do? Perhaps these are why this note was written. I am afraid I cannot think of how they are relevant to the investigation though. Perhaps the Communists wanted these "miracles" he performed? How did Dr Loyd's Father die?
Bob Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 This is really odd. We know that it must be important since the doctor was killed and the communists wanted to have it. Afterall, the dead commie did have the letter "O" on him. I would like to know what the strip of paper under section "O" said. I would like to see what kind of bullets the gun uses and if there are any special marks/features. It uses revolver bullets. There's no special marks. "away to the tiny town of Alabatha, or whatever it's called. I'm " is what the paper under "O" said. Ok, that makes much more sense. Perhaps the Communists wanted these "miracles" he performed? How did Dr Loyd's Father die? Heart attack.
Mrlegoninja Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 If you put the strips in order backswards or differently, does is change anything?
Bob Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 If you put the strips in order backswards or differently, does is change anything? No.
The Legonater Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Does that note seem incomplete to anyone else? I'd like to open the other encyclopedias and see if any others have notes in them.
Captain Genaro Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Does that note seem incomplete to anyone else? That note is part of the letter. Was the note torn or cut into the different pieces?
Fugazi Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 "away to the tiny town of Alabatha, or whatever it's called. I'm " is what the paper under "O" said. Hmm yes, definitely a cryptic message. The original 'O' note we found had 23:00 on it, like in 'Alabatha, 23:00'. I don't know what to make of the intruder. Did he steal anything? Did he try to plant evidence here to make us believe that Dr Lloyd was a communist collaborator? Or was Lloyd really a commie? I don't know if this will be useful or rather irrelevant, but let's hear it. Who wears size 10 shoes in the group?
Bob Posted March 17, 2011 Author Posted March 17, 2011 Everyone, there was an "O" in the fake book. The passage is directly taken from the note. Does that note seem incomplete to anyone else? I'd like to open the other encyclopedias and see if any others have notes in them. They don't That note is part of the letter. Was the note torn or cut into the different pieces? It was cut into horizontal lines, and placed into each of the respective encyclopedias. Hmm yes, definitely a cryptic message. The original 'O' note we found had 23:00 on it, like in 'Alabatha, 23:00'. I don't know what to make of the intruder. Did he steal anything? Fugazi Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 You'd have to ask. I would like to ask everyone who doesn't wear size 9 to show me their shoes, and I will measure them using the same vegetable ruler I used to measure the footprints outside.
Walter Kovacs Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Honestly I don't remember what size shoe I wear (I think it was mentioned last chapter ), but I'll show Alan my shoes anyway. I encourage the other members of our party to do the same. Though since all of us were together when the intruder was in here, it is likely that he was one of the other commie operatives, and not one of us. Doesn't hurt to check, though.
The Legonater Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I don't know if this has been asked before, but I'd like to see if the letters make a word when they're arranged in order.
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 To remind everyone: The only people with a size nine shoe are: Captain Harding, Farmer Alan, Patrick Jefferson, Chief Fields, Judge Cain, Mayor Bradford, and Councilman Ackerson. I would also like to show my shoe size.
iamded Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I'm a size 9. I don't know if this has been asked before, but I'd like to see if the letters make a word when they're arranged in order. That's a pretty smart idea, Stevie.
Captain Genaro Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Do all the pieces we found seem to be the same ( paper, ink, ect.)?
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I'd like to know which letters go with which lines.
Bob Posted March 18, 2011 Author Posted March 18, 2011 I don't know if this has been asked before, but I'd like to see if the letters make a word when they're arranged in order. It does not. I too would like to show my shoe size Gloria wears a size seven. I'll show my size too. Maxwell wears a size ten. To remind everyone: I would also like to show my shoe size. James wears a size ten. Do all the pieces we found seem to be the same ( paper, ink, ect.)? Indeed they do. I'd like to know which letters go with which lines. ATTN DR LLOYD: (Corresponds with A) 2/12/1935 (Corresponds with A) My name is Doctor J.David Geller, I'm a surgeon in New York City. (Corresponds with G) I was wondering if you'd like to come and speak to us at a little (Corresponds with P) conference that we're putting together. After all, your father (Corresponds with O) was one of the finest doctors on the east coast, before he moved (Corresponds with Z) away to the tiny town of Alabatha, or whatever it's called. I'm (Corresponds with T) certain that your father would like you to come and speak to us. (Corresponds with T) You might not be as good him, but it would be nice to hear any (Corresponds with Q) stories that you have about the miracles your father performed. (Corresponds with R) Sincerely, (Corresponds with Y) Dr. J.David Geller (Corresponds with Y)
Captain Genaro Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I would also like to tell everyone my shoe size.
The Legonater Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 If I haven't done it before, I'd like to tell my shoe size.
Bob Posted March 18, 2011 Author Posted March 18, 2011 I'd once again like to tell my shoe size. Krista has size eight boots I would also like to tell everyone my shoe size. Frankie has a size eleven If I haven't done it before, I'd like to tell my shoe size. Stevie wears a size eight.
Professor Flitwick Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I'd like to tell mine and Dolly's shoe sizes.
Admiral Ron Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I am afraid I am horrible with names, is it possible all of these letters correspond with peoples' names in the town?
Sisco Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Alright I'll show my shoe size. Please tell everyone my shoe size.
