Sisco Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Fields! What the hell?! Did you not see the crowd going to tackle that figure? You could have missed and killed one of them! And what if you killed the guy? We could get some good information out of him!
Professor Flitwick Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 What vehicle? I've scanned the whole picture and all I can see is a boat. Isn't the thing in the upper left a vehicle of some description? It might just be my eyes, but it looks like two tires of a car in the top left corner...
Bob Posted March 21, 2011 Author Posted March 21, 2011 Get them! I would like to chase the runner, throwing the hammer I have as I go I'll try to circle around and cut off it's escape route. Oh, a figure with a knife! I'll catch up with and tackle this mysterious running man, then grab his knife from him. I'd like to shoot the figure with my pistol and chase after it. I'm done with mindless chat. It's go time!!! The group chases the runner around the warehouse...James cuts off the runner's escape route. It's Doctor Lloyd! "Back away, all of you! You left me for dead the morning, and I was still alive! None of you even bothered to come and check on poor Doctor Lloyd. You come to me for all your injuries, but when I'm injured, I'm left to die in the streets. When I eventually pulled myself up, I rushed to the hospital to clean myself up. I fled out the window when you were entering my office." he said. Chief Fields rounds the corner. "Enough of this!" he says. Bang! He shoots Doctor Lloyd immediately. "Agh!" Lloyd shouts. Captain Garrison then tackles him to the ground. Gloria then throws her hammer at Doctor Lloyd's ribcage. "Talk about overkill." James says. Doctor Lloyd winces in pain as he's on the ground. Get him guys! I'd like to check if the fugitive has dropped anything on his way. Is that blood I can see on the ground? He hasn't dropped anything on his way to the wall, and it is indeed blood. Isn't the thing in the upper left a vehicle of some description? It might just be my eyes, but it looks like two tires of a car in the top left corner... That's a spotlight to signal incoming ships.
Sisco Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Doctor Lloyd?! Well, if you're so sweet and innocent, why where you brandishing that knife at us? Is Dr. Lloyd even still alive? Where did Fields shoot him?
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 But you're throat was slit! How were you even walking around? After making sure the knife is out of his reach, I'd like to check him to make sure he doesn't have any more weapons and see if he has any papers on him.
Fugazi Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Well done Fields! How are we supposed to interrogate him if he's dead again? I would like to assist Ralph in giving first aid to the doctor, if he still has a pulse. I don't know what we can do for him, Nurse Parker is dead as well and the hospital is empty. Now, what was the mess in Dr Lloyds office all about? Was he trying to get away with documents he didn't want us to see?
CMP Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Well done Fields! How are we supposed to interrogate him if he's dead again? Er...sorry. Heat of the moment. Got a flashback to my war days. But please, he would've stabbed James to death if I hadn't. So, Lloyd is our knife-toting commie! (Or serial killer?) Either way, it's over now! I'd like to force the truth out of Lloyd: Is he a commie? And if so, who are the others, and how many are there? Oh yea, and if he refuses, I'd like to pistol-whip him and ask him again.
Captain Genaro Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 I find it odd that a man who has almost been killed could get up on his own. How do we know someone did not help him? Also, why was he at the docks? Ah, so many questions. Was the doctor bleeding or did the blood on the ground drip from the knife? What is the knife used for/ what type of knife does the doctor have?
Fugazi Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 So, Lloyd is our knife-toting commie! (Or serial killer?) Either way, it's over now! I'm not so sure about that. Lloyd was killed -- I mean wounded -- with a knife himself, and it's likely where he got his knife from. But the evidence in his office does point to him being a commie. So how does that add up? We were wrong in thinking that knife killers are communist spies?
Bob Posted March 22, 2011 Author Posted March 22, 2011 Doctor Lloyd?! Well, if you're so sweet and innocent, why where you brandishing that knife at us? Is Dr. Lloyd even still alive? Where did Fields shoot him? "Yes, I'm somehow still alive after being sliced, shot, tackled, and hammered." Lloyd says. But you're throat was slit! How were you even walking around? After making sure the knife is out of his reach, I'd like to check him to make sure he doesn't have any more weapons and see if he has any papers on him. Host Note: Your*. How did you get into The Forest Mafia again? "Obviously whoever attempted to kill me missed my throat and instead only got part of my neck. Amateur." Lloyd says. He's got no weapons or papers on him. Well done Fields! Ralph and Farmer Alan try to help the doctor, by cleaning his wounds. Fields hits the barely alive Lloyd with his pistol. "Are you a communist?" he asks. "Who are the others? Where are the others?" "I'm not a communist you idiot. How could I be a communist? My neck was cut. How could I do that to myself?" I find it odd that a man who has almost been killed could get up on his own. How do we know someone did not help him? Also, why was he at the docks? Ah, so many questions. Was the doctor bleeding or did the blood on the ground drip from the knife? What is the knife used for/ what type of knife does the doctor have? The doctor was bleeding. The knife is a doctor knife, used for surgical procedures.
CMP Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 "I'm not a communist you idiot. How could I be a communist? My neck was cut. How could I do that to myself?" I didn't say you did. But we have both a soldier dead, the mayor injured, and Valeire Jenkins dead by a knife. Did you have something to do with that, punk???
Fugazi Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 "I'm not a communist you idiot. How could I be a communist? My neck was cut. How could I do that to myself?" Then where were you going with this knife and why were you hiding from us? And why did we find a false book in your office with clues leading to a letter written almost 20 years ago? Why was that letter so important that you had to hide it in such a way?
Sisco Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 What kind of knife was *sob* Valerie killed with? The killer threw the knife, so we recovered it. If she was killed with a surgical knife, then we have our knife killer.

"My father was always better than me. I was always riding his coattails, even when I didn't want too. Everyone came to me not because of my medical expertise, but because of my father! Do you know what it's like to try and live up to his expectations? I was always a better doctor than him, but he was always more revered." he rants. What kind of knife was *sob* Valerie killed with? The killer threw the knife, so we recovered it. If she was killed with a surgical knife, then we have our knife killer. Valerie was not killed with a surgical knife.
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Host Note: Your*. How did you get into The Forest Mafia again? Obviously, that was my character speaking and he hasn't had an adequate education. Yeah... that's it. Tell us more about your father. What was he doin' here? How have you been followin' in his footsteps?

What was he doin' here? How have you been followin' in his footsteps? "My father came here because he was tired of working in the big city. I became a doctor as well, to follow in his footsteps and take over the practice."
Walter Kovacs Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Yes, we left you for dead. None of us have any medical training. We probably should have at least checked for a pulse, but the wound looked fatal to our untrained eye. However, that doesn't explain why you ransacked your own office. Or why you ran out through the window when you heard us approaching. Or why you ran from us just now. This kind of behavior just doesn't make sense, and it makes me wonder what you really were up to.
Fugazi Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 You still haven't explained the reason why you were trying to avoid us. Anyway, won't you come back to the hospital, Doctor? I'm sure you would need some DIY medical care, and while you're there you could identify the body that we found in the hills earlier today. And now that I think of it, I would like to have another look at your encyclopedia. I have a hunch, perhaps the inscription "23:00" on the letter O piece of paper was meant as a pointer to a page of the book? Yes, we left you for dead. None of us have any medical training. But I suppose as long as we keep weapons out of his reach... Have you attempted to kill anyone, Lloyd? And where did you find that knife?

Before answering your questions, Lloyd dies, for real this time, as he's been shot, tackled, hammered, and pistol-whipped. There has been no medical attention provided to the deranged doctor.

There has been no medical attention provided to the deranged doctor. That's a sad ending. Perhaps we should take him to the morgue and I can quickly check his office one last time? We'll come back to the Lakota right away.
CMP Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 I feel kind of bad for shooting and pistol-whipping him now. I'd like to make sure everyone we've assumed dead so far is IS ACTUALLY DEAD.
CorneliusMurdock Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I'd like to make sure everyone we've assumed dead so far is IS ACTUALLY DEAD. How're you gonna do that, shoot them all again to make sure? Why are you the police chief? Maybe if he wasn't shot and then pistol whipped, he coulda actually given us info to use. Or was was it your intention to prevent that? I'd like look around the part of the dock where we first spotted the doctor to see what he was doing before we chased him down. I'd also like to use my knowledge of the docks to determine if anything looks out of place.

CorneliusMurdock Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Yeah, cause he was so close to getting me...
