Hmm, that's an interesting tale, wonder what Edgar will have to say about it once he wakes from his slumber.

Also, it's very good that Brigit spoke up, inactivity is our worst enemy, and I'm as guilty of this as anyone else in the village, but Benji, I'll try my best to help out more.

I have already discussed things with Edger, thank you very much. Why must you ALWAYS drag things out into the open Brigit, it puts anyone whos trying anything in a very tough spot.

What, you prefer to hide in the shadows, then? I'm only conveying what I've been told. I did not know you had already got into an agreement with Edgar - how would I know something like that?! :hmpf:

But do you admit being a blocker, then? If you are loyal to our Village, then I am truly sorry for exposing you, but all you've said and done point that you are exactly the opposite.

So please tell us your version of what happened last night. There's already huge targets on my, Edgar's and Horace's backs, so come join the contest of who bites the bullet first out of the four of us.

Do you know it is very intensive for me to piece all of the night actions in my house... I will like to assume that all of the visitors last night are all townies (at least for now). I think they are all trustworthy. To protect the innocent parties, I will not be specific as in who do what and what they are capable of, unless of course, if someone else wants to step up and said I am wrong, please consult me in private, so I can tally your statement with mine findings.

Here is what I think have happens. At the start, I only know of one specific result when I begin to do another action. I am blocked. Yes, I am being extremely open about this. So, this blocker could comes from either a townie or a scummy. I am very much inclined to think that person is a townie who blocks me, thinking I was an arsonist. But the fact was, the arsonist strikes while my night action was nullified and anyway, even if my night action wasn't blocked. I also could not stop the arsonist since I don't know who is he/she in night...

Next, I know there is a watcher that records all of the movement. Now, if Horace statement is true, then that person is likely a scum vigilante but was not successful. Whereas, the other person who protects me, must have seen the town vigilante who could have targeted me but failed. Unless, of course the town vigilante choose not to kill anyone last night.

I only got to know about this, like 10 minutes ago.

I am not even know if I am making any sense since my eyes are shutting down in the midst of the day while my mind is in the night!!

Assuming, of course, there is a town vigilante.

I'm inclined to believe you when you say the animals who targeted you are all townies, and I also think Lauren is telling the truth, thus confirming your story from yesterday, Edgar.

I'm still curious about Brigit's role in this, and how she got to hear what the watcher saw.

Hey,what can I say? I'm only the most eligible bachelorette in this village.

The men want me, the women want to be me, and that gets them to open up to me, I suppose.

Lovely non-committing answer there.. :hmpf: But sure, if you're telling the truth you'd have to protect your sources, I have no problem understanding that.

Well, duh!

I might be a blabbermouth, but I'm not a sell-out. I don't know if I can trust my contact or not, but until they proove me otherwise, I'm not going to expose them.

Unlike with Lauren :look:

Well, she hasn't contacted me privately, and I doubt she would've just revealed everything to me if I'd confronted her in private. She and I kinda crossed our flowerstalks yesterday, if you didn't notice.

So I felt going public with what I was told was the only way to solve this mess. Sorry if it bothers you...

I don't see why a scum would have blocked Edgar. I mean, the arsonist might just as well have decided to burn one of the Demon Legion instead of Booker. The firefighter indirectly protects the scum too, unless... unless the Demon Legion have already allied themselves with the arsonist, an unlikely event. Or unless the arsonist in not neutral, but part of a different faction that Laura is also part of. This is far-fetched, and I'd rather believe Laura is an innocent villager.

(I mean... Lauren)

Why? Because my source said she was one of the people targetting Edgar last night, and apparently not with good intentions. She seems to be a blocker, and why would a Villager want to block the only one who can stop the arsonist?

That fits in with my theory about the scum's night actions too. But apparently that's wrong, as it seems we've come to the conclusion that only townies targeted Edgar last night. So if the scum do have a blocker, perhaps they targeted a vanilla townie or something last night? :sceptic: As to who to vote for, I'm still reviewing yesterday's happenings. I know we must convict someone, but of course we don't want to send a townie to their death.

Oh don't be silly Brigit, I'm not mad. Just a little frustrated! Edger and I spoke things over, and I have already spoken to another town member too. I appreciate that you were at least trying to help. And yes, we've all get targets on our head now... that's a nasty, but, I guess not much to be done about it. Edger and I have talked about who we think visited him last night, and we have a few more cards than you all do, if we put what we know together, and I have also come to the conclusion that everyone was a member of the town! If you really all still don't trust me, then feel free to pressure me more. Or contact me in private. Especially you Brigit, we are business partners. Just come to my garden any time, we can have tea, chit-chat, and you can by my beautiful flowers!

Lauren, while saying a lot today, hasn't really said anything at all. It's all been a sort of dreamy mish-mash of megablocks lambshit, if you ask me.

And while I'm blathering on...

I admit. The only action I have taken so far was refusing to vote for someone who appears to be a town member. Hurrah for "doing nothing".

I'm kidding! Sorry, that sounded cynical! I just haven't much to say. Edger is NOT A KILLER (and most LIKELY who he claims to be, though I can't promise you that). That is all I have to offer.

Looking back over what has been done and said, I haven't seen the following people do much to help this village out much. That by no means is an indictment of them, or that those that are not on this list are innocent. It is merely an observation, and hopefully will get some discussion that we sorely need get started. Those people are Bristol Bunny, Bruno Bear, Cara Cow, Gabby Goat, Gilbert Goat, Lauren Lamb, Lazlo Lion, Marcus Monkey, Mindy Mouse, Pennie Pig and Sheldon Sheepdog. Lauren, while saying a lot today, hasn't really said anything at all. It's all been a sort of dreamy mish-mash of megablocks lambshit, if you ask me.

Good idea Benji, let's discuss. While I mostly agree with your list, I find it conspicuous that Wendell Walrus is absent. Is it a simple oversight or are you trying to protect someone who definitely deserves to be named here for not having added anything of value to the discussion during the last two days?

Simple oversight, actually. Wendell has done nothing to help the town to this point, and certainly deserves some scrutiny.

Wendell has been very quiet hasn't he...

ERE ELVES THRILL AHEAD

"What kind of riddle is that?" Puzzled the Baker's wife.

"A very clever one, indeed." Smiled Daxia.

To solve the riddle, PM your answer to Hinckley. The first person to correctly guess the riddle will receive something.

I feel like I'm locked in a house where some demented old fool left anagrams stuffed in the light sockets and hidden toilets. :sceptic:

Alright, so yeah. After pouring over the events of yesterday, I still don't know who to vote for. But so help me, my vote shall be placed by the end of the day!

Posted

Hi y'all! I'd just like to make a little personal plea, don't vote me out if nothing else comes up! You'd really be hurting yourselves if you all hop on the bandwagon. Unless of course you think I'm a demon lover, in which case you're wrong, but I guess I understand why you'd vote for me.

Just in my defense, if you are considering voting for me, the person that Brigit claimed I targeted last night has both proclaimed that he thinks that I am a member of the town, and that I'm not the only person that visited him. Brigit picked me at random, it would seem. That's all!

Posted

We'll assume that no one wants to be voted out, Lauren. For now, I believe you. Unfortunately that leaves us with no leads once again. Since most of the people I've talked to won't hazard a guess as to who the scum might be, we're left at square one. Don't get me wrong, it's great that everyone that's been suspected has perfectly rational defenses and turns out to be townies doing their job but that doesn't help us with this voting dilemma.

Those people are...Bruno Bear...

Sorry, I've been in my house all day writing a letter to my friend who is getting married. It's a rather long letter :look: . I'm a bit out of the loop today, sorry  . With Booker's death and the wedding, it's quite a lot to go through! I did occasionally hear you all talking, though.

So there's all this talk and nothing conclusive, really. The only thing that pops out, for me, is Pennie Pig and his odd behavior. It could be nothing, but it could be something, too :look: . The other is everything with Edger, but I've nothing really to add there (yet)...

I'll be better tomorrow, promise :classic:

Perhaps you'd like to have Pennie explain himself a bit more. I certainly haven't been thrilled with his participation of late.

Right now I am seriously leaning towards voting for Wendell, actually. His participation has been very much low-key this entire ordeal. Almost like he has something to hide. :hmpf_bad:

Really, I sit back and see what others say, let alone repeat, and I fall under scrutiny for it? We were worried about people causing distractions yesterday, so today we go after the observant ones? I'm a loyal member of this town, always have been, always will. I really wish I had some way to prove it, I really do. I also wish I had some way to know who was telling the truth and who here was full of crap.

I'm not trying to be non-helpful, I just want to let people who have theories express them. I'm trying to not be counter productive.

And I have gas, a lot of gas.

pffffttttttttttttttttt

His quick initial vote was backed by severe misunderstanding. Although he certainly looks suspicious to me too, part of me says that he's just extremely misguided, didn't read properly, or is just plain stupid.

An interesting idea. If nothing else presents itself and no other "leads" are worth pursuing, perhaps this is our best course of action for today.
