badboytje88 Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Wow, I was planning on unvoting the bunny and go for the lion, but now I don't know what to do!
Rufus Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Hmmm... a dilemma. We must reach a conviction. If both Bristol and Lazlo are telling the truth, Lazlo has a useful ability. Personally, I think he needs to stay alive for now and be tested. So I will vote: Bristol Bunny (Bob the Construction Man) I will hopefully have the opportunity to change my vote if necessary in order to help reach a conviction, but for now, I think this is the better option.
Eskallon Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Well, even if I could change my vote I would stand by my vote. Even if you are waiting for PM's Lazlo, that should give you more time to post in the day thread. You have been online right next to us all this time, so why not speak to us. Well, you are either scum or a stupid villager. Some of you say we have no evidence for voting Lazlo, well we do. He is very inactive and says nothing until accused, he listens in on what we say and still doesn't speak, oh and laying low on the first few days is a scum tactic. Finally, why would a villager reveal their role with so much time left in the day. There is the proof, we do have evidence against Lazlo and you can look back yourself and view it without somebody possible scum having to tell you. Join me in my cause, and together we will have a good chance of catching one of these Demon Legion. Or don't and let the votes split, just what the scum want.
Rick Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Well, even if I could change my vote I would stand by my vote. Even if you are waiting for PM's Lazlo, that should give you more time to post in the day thread. You have been online right next to us all this time, so why not speak to us. Well, you are either scum or a stupid villager. I too am highly suspicious of Lazlo and that hasn't changed from day one, but at least his (claimed) important night action might have been a reason for not coming forward sooner. Some of you say we have no evidence for voting Lazlo, well we do. He is very inactive and says nothing until accused, he listens in on what we say and still doesn't speak, oh and laying low on the first few days is a scum tactic. I agree with you completely, and I think he should have done better by not making himself so suspicious... Finally, why would a villager reveal their role with so much time left in the day. There is the proof, we do have evidence against Lazlo and you can look back yourself and view it without somebody possible scum having to tell you. There isn't that much time left when you consider we take our afternoon naps (timezones and all) at different times. The timing of his claim doesn't really surprise me. If the votes against him would have stopped and one or two, he'd be stupid to have claimed sooner. And even if he had done it privately, he might have been talking to the wrong people. Join me in my cause, and together we will have a good chance of catching one of these Demon Legion.Or don't and let the votes split, just what the scum want. Call me a pussy , but I don't really dare to vote out a claimed blocker at this point. I'm far from convinced Bristol is a member of the Demon Legion, but it seems like the only other option for a conviction today. We're not avoiding a random death by sparing her, but we are avoiding the Demon Legion becoming more powerful. Vote: Bristol Bunny (Bob the Construction Man)
Lord Arjay Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I'm dissapointed no-one joined me in voting Gabby. Unvote: Gabby Goat / Ricecracker Vote: Bristol Bunny / BobtheCM I don't think convicting either claimed blocker is a good idea without further investigation, which we don't have right now. Bristol is better than a random death.
I Scream Clone Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Its possibly a ruse from Bristol claiming to be vanilla, though it will only cost us a voter if we are wrong. However if we are right in our suspicions we will claim a victory for Townsfolk. Apologies if we are wrong Bristol, but it seems in order to prevent the Legion growing you will be the first to go. Vote Bristol Bunny If Lazlo is a blocker and Lauren's contact is a blocker as well, perhaps they will target someone other than Edgar tonight? This may help us keep the Demons at bay in the wee hours. ( we)
Bob Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Despite the fact that it appears I am likely to be voted out, I shall not blindly vote for another townie to save myself. If I am to die, then I shall die with a clean conscience. I understand the dilemma you're all in, if I don't die, one of you will. Therefore, while I wish I wasn't the one who had to be scapegoated, I shall sacrifice myself for the good of the town.
Shadows Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I don't care much for it because I don't see where it makes any sense, but given that we're in deep furry trouble if we don't vote today... Vote: Bristol Bunny/Bob the Construction Man Sorry if we're wrong, Bristol. If we're right, I hope you make some demon a delicious meal then it chokes on your bones.
Sandy Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I decided to vote for you, Bristol, because you already had a few votes under your belt and we need a conviction today. It's too late for me to unvote now, anyway. But now it seems the votes are split, which is worrying me, because that's a common scum tactic in order to avoid conviction. I just hope there's enough time... I have to say, though, that Lazlo's sudden reveal is suspicious to me. He might be telling the truth, or he might be a blocker, but not on our Village's side. Next night will be revealing indeed... I'm just crossing my fingers (do bunnies even have those?) so that there's a conviction today.
Fugazi Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I know that Bristol is about to be lynched, and if he is then I'll cross my fingers and hope that he is scum. But I'm sticking to my vote. I don't believe there are two roleblockers in this village, and one of them must be lying. Isn't it just a bit convenient that Lazlo pretends that he blocked Bristol just shortly after Bristol admitted (or pretended) not to have any night action? The only animal in the village who publicly claims this? So that Lazlo's claim can't be disproved by anyone? The way I see it, either Bristol really doesn't have a night action or didn't use it last night and he can't disprove Lazlo (so there's no point in voting Bristol), OR he has a night action, used it and chooses not to disprove Lazlo -- in which case both are lying. So at the end of the day, I will still be voting for Lazlo, for good or ill.
Hinckley Posted March 14, 2011 Author Posted March 14, 2011 Vote tally Eskallon / Pennie Pig: 1 vote (penalty) Bob the Construction Man / Bristol Bunny: 11 votes (def, WhiteFang, Walter Kovacs, Sandy*, Quarryman, badboytje88, Rufus, Rick, Lord Arjay*, I Scream Clone, Shadows) TinyPiesRUs / Lazlo Lion: 6 votes (Eskallon*, iamded, Fugazi, Professor Flitwick, Zepher, CorneliusMurdock*) *Votes appearing in Rouge are locked in and cannot be unvoted.
def Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I don't believe there are two roleblockers in this village, and one of them must be lying. There could be: one town blocker, and one scum blocker. We're in a tricky situation here.
Fugazi Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 There could be: one town blocker, and one scum blocker. We're in a tricky situation here. True, I should have said that there can't be two village roleblockers. As I mentioned earlier, I don't see why a scum roleblocker would have chosen to block Edgar last night.
Scouty Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I have been soooo confused today, but there's one thing I can prevent, and that is the Demon Legion gaining more power. I'm not comfortable with this vote, but it's the only thing to do. Vote: Bristol Bunny (BTCM)
def Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 True, I should have said that there can't be two village roleblockers. As I mentioned earlier, I don't see why a scum roleblocker would have chosen to block Edgar last night. Because Edgar was claiming a town role. They don't know who has town roles, so they could either randomly block someone, or guaranteed block someone with a defensive role. Make sense now?
Fugazi Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Because Edgar was claiming a town role. They don't know who has town roles, so they could either randomly block someone, or guaranteed block someone with a defensive role. Make sense now? I understand, but it was already obvious to many that Edgar was the firefighter, not a role that the scum should have been interested in blocking. Especially since Edgar was expected to be under close scrutiny during the night. Oh well, so much for double-guessing.
WhiteFang Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I know for sure that I was blocked last night. The person who blocked me had come forth and tell me about it in private. I had heard nothing about Lazlo's ability and I got to know it today. One thing certain, I don't believe there is 2 town role blockers. I find it very hard to believe indeed.
Hinckley Posted March 14, 2011 Author Posted March 14, 2011 The day will end in one hour and fifteen minutes (1:15). In case you are wondering why it's so far off from the time stamp of the first post, it's because I started the thread in a secret forum and moved it here when it was time to start the day. The time stamp of the "Day Two is up" post in the discussion thread is what you should go by. And don't forget there was a time change for those of you who live in daylight savings. Most of the day threads and night posts are saved in another place. Life is hectic with overtime and other commitments, so I'm trying to stay ahead of the game a bit.
Inconspicuous Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I'm so sorry I've been absent all day! I don't feel like I've had a chance to catch up sufficiently, so I will withhold my vote, and I doubt I'll return in time to vote today. It looks like you've been having a plenty interesting and informative day without me. Goodnight everyone!
Walter Kovacs Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I understand, but it was already obvious to many that Edgar was the firefighter, not a role that the scum should have been interested in blocking. I'm not so sure the scum wouldn't be interested in blocking Edgar on Night 1. This would prevent him from finding the Arsonist, thus allowing an extra kill at night. Sure, it could backfire and a scum could have been taken out, but the percentages were on the scum side that the Arsonist would take out a Villager. Besides, who else could they block? Any other target and there is a chance of getting a vanilla Villager (thereby wasting the block), when they were almost gauranteed to cause some harm to the Village by blocking Edgar. I'm not saying it's gospel truth, but it makes sense on some level.
Hinckley Posted March 14, 2011 Author Posted March 14, 2011 Vote tally Eskallon / Pennie Pig: 1 vote (penalty) Bob the Construction Man / Bristol Bunny: 12 votes (def, WhiteFang, Walter Kovacs, Sandy*, Quarryman, badboytje88, Rufus, Rick, Lord Arjay*, I Scream Clone, Shadows, Scouts) TinyPiesRUs / Lazlo Lion: 6 votes (Eskallon*, iamded, Fugazi, Professor Flitwick, Zepher, CorneliusMurdock*) Non-Voters: 5 non-votes (Bob the Construction Man, Ricecracker, TinyPiesRUs, Inconspicuous, Stash2Sixx) *Votes appearing in Rouge are locked in and cannot be unvoted. The day is over and a conviction has been reached. You have decided to lynch Bristol Bunny / Bob the Construction Man. Bristol Bunny attempted to run off into the dark forest, but her accusers stopped her and brought her back to the village square to be chained up. Marcellus the Monk couldn't bear to watch as Bristol began to cry. "I know it's for the good of the village and I love this village with all my heart, but why me?" She cried, "I don't want to die." The villagers couldn't watch either. "Please, please, not me!" Bristol continued, "I still don't understand why you've all chosen me. What did I do?" Everyone looked at the ground or away from the spectacle as Bristol began to beg for her life. "Please, let me go home!" Bristol screamed, "I just want to go home. I want to wake up in my bed and realize this is all a horrible nightmare. Please, let me go home!" Not even her accusers could look at her as she began screaming hysterically. "Help! Please, someone help! I don't want to die! God, help me please!" Day 2 has now ended. You have 24 hours to get your night actions in. Day Three will be posted as soon as possible.
