oo7 Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 This is my first MOC on EB which I started before the before the begining of batmonth but I just got around to emptying my memory sticks :-| . This is my custom batcave inspired by this site and just a generall fondness of batman. I didn't have enough peices to make the actual rock cave like Vader but mine has some sweet stuff none the less. Sorry if it's a little dark but uh, nice plants ehh? THE VEHICLES: Here is my offcial LEGO batwing, a slightely customized batboat, a fully customized batboat (yes I know I stole Yoda's idea, but it was such a brilliant one, I couldn't help it), and in the backround an almost fully customized batmobile. The Batsub and Batkart are stationed on docks overthe batcave's underground river. The first I don't know if batman has (but it would be probable) and the second is a joke inspired by JoeM16 and promoted by one of the best mario games, MK Double Dash (the first being SM Sunshine X-D ). Here is a close up of the batmobile with the unmanned batspybot on a turntable in the mechanics workshop. The empty runway thing (ahh it's 9:30 and my brain is shutting down for the day) is where my $2.99 police motorcycle goes after being spraypainted black. THE STATIONARY ITEMS: Batman's super computer (the worst possible place for a delicate expensive one-of-a-kind super computer, a damp underground cavern laiden with bat skat, just a thought ;-) ) Batman's personal gym and medical facillity (I know, the medical facillity colors don't go but think about it, it would look so weird in any other color) LINK ahh to fuzzy :-| Batman's power generator and emergency air supply. not much to say here. LINK My funtioning elevator from Batman Begins (I love that movie :'-) ) LINK ugh again, fuzzier than an ewok >:-( and finally, Batman's high-tech crime lab. Some petri dishes and a cool MOC microscope! :-P LINK BS Gallery when moderated Comments? Criticisms? Compliments? Questions? Anything is appreciated :-) Quote
SuvieD Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 This is definitely the most high tech batcave I have seen. I like all the little details you included and the sub and kart are very funny. It would be nicer to see everything more condensed. It takes up a lot of room and some stacking of areas or going for a more equal width and length might make this less sparce looking. A good build though. Some better lighting and camera work would help this along also. MOC on! Quote

natelite Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 hmm, with so many bad guys shooting at batman, i doubt batkart is used much. maybe batskates? :-P Quote
xwingyoda Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 yes I know I stole Yoda's idea, but it was such a brilliant one, I couldn't help it Ha I have finally inspired someone :-D !! Seriously, I'm glad you loved my design and that you copied it !! I do take it as a nice hommage ;-) Your cave has interesting details like the gym, the bike turntable thingie, the sub and cart hehe (and especially the computer control panel *y* ) !! I would build a costume chamber if I were you ;-) *yoda* Quote
oo7 Posted June 23, 2006 Author Posted June 23, 2006 I would build a costume chamber if I were you ;-) I have a costume chamber, right here in my BS folder but it was a such a simple pic so I didn't bother adding it to my review. I also have a trophy room in my folder but I didn't want to make the post to long so I left it out. Natelite- yes, that batkart isn't serious, I just put it there becuase it looked good on that elavated platform. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. *y* Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 I really like the details of your Batcave 007, esp. the control panel. Nicely done. I like your Batsub. I've wanted to build a larger one since I purchased the real Batcave and built the Penguin sub. I just don't have the pieces to do so. Overall, nice rendition. Quote
oo7 Posted July 9, 2006 Author Posted July 9, 2006 I'm glad you like it Mr. Brickster, I was going to get the official Batcave but than recently I desided against it because after building my batcave the only things I still wanted was the figs and the vehicles so I decided to spend my money on something which I could get the full value from. WesternOutlaw Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 It's funny, I never bought a set just for the figs. But I do like the Batcave. It's a neat set. See my review for details. Quote
oo7 Posted July 10, 2006 Author Posted July 10, 2006 It's funny, I never bought a set just for the figs. Neither did I, that's why I'm not buying it. See my review for details. I eagerly did that long ago. It was a really good review. Quote
VenVoi Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 (edited) Nice Batcave! I like how it's simple in layout, yet complex in its attention to detail. I like all of the custom vehicles, but I think my favorite part is the super-computer. A tech geek's dream come true. -VenVoi Edited October 5, 2010 by VenVoi Quote
Masked Builder Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 While I know very little about Batman this looks great! Quote
Primusman Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I remember searching lego Batman custom batcaves up a few years ago, and found this. I always liked it, especially the computer and the parking spaces for vehicles. Keep up the good work, and I'm a conformist!! Quote
