Ye Horseless Horse*

This is the horseless horse, a triumph of technomagery. Using the viridis Fomes vox crystal to power the cart wheels, this magnificent machine can outpace the kings finest horses and certainly a running man. The saddle provides a comfortable seat for the rider and the saddlebag can hold and carry items needed throughout the land. This technomagical vehicle is one of a kind and an exciting development for our fair land Draigoness.

This MOC came out exactly how I imagined it, I had great fun building it and will be happy to explain any construction methods. :classic:

Okay, now this is different, what do we call this kind of building....not steam-punk because there is no steam....er, water-punk...closest I guess 'Peppermint_M'...very nice medieval machine...noticed it crystal powered....aren't we heading in to the Sci-Fi area ?

Great work and totally Brick On !

Footnote - you could have called it King Arthur's Chopper !

Now this us umm...Very unusual MOC Peppermint  At least nobody cant blaim you about lack of imagination. Great work whit this MOC, it looks like a real medival age chopper, and i love the way you builded it

Captian Becker

 This is great. I love the the 2 cart whels forming the front wheel, and you stuck to the color scheme perfectly. The Lion Knights better watch out!

Magitech or Castlepunk I personally classed it as when I imagined it.

The Magical Technology "genre" can cover anything from Castle age mages with "high" technology to a more Final Fantasy setting (think VII plus) where it is modernish aesthetic but all magical powered technology.

Castlepunk is pretty much self explained.

Glad you all like it. This is my first real castle themed MOC since I was a kid building red and yellow towers for my makeshift knights, the idea just hit me as I browsed an article about unusual motorcycles on Dark Roasted Blend. I love motorcycles and a castle themed one seemed like a cool thing to try. As the car is often called a "horseless carriage" I though Horseless Horse was an apt title for this vehicle!

Mmmmm, bike! :sweet:

Looks sweet, great job Pep! NPU all-round; especially the headlight!

Haha very cool :D.

I thought at first when I red the title it was a transpartent horse or something :O.

But Nice work :D

Castlepunk, very unique and interesting idea, and this 'castle bike' really represents this novel theme perfectly. I like the way you used the horse's headgear, good job!

I might be making a few more things within the theme, but if I stretch it too far it may end up as Science Fiction in some peoples eyes. I just had to build the bike when I got the idea. Glad everyone likes it.

I have to say, I thought Magitech/Castlepunk was more well known. Different refrence pools I guess.

That's brilliance right there, although I'd stick a boiler on instead of a magic crystal

I have to agree that horse's headgear is just perfect, well done!

Ah, but 'Cpt' steam wasn't used for a few more centuries !

I like the name Castle-punk, good thinking 'Peppermint_M' - Queen of Castle-Punk !

Awesome bike! I just got an idea for an engine for this new "castle punk" you've thought of; how about a little animal like a rat running around a circular wheel and generating power for the bike!

Haha, that's a really funny, well-executed neat little MOC! The amount of detail is just great and it's instantly recognizable.

Really well done.

CastlePunk sounds good! This is awesome, plus its different which is always good. We need more of this! Im gonna create a flying tree now - ForestPunk!!!

Awesome, and as inspiring as the lovely Steampunk MOCs on the Sci Fi board.

Actually, since you mentioned Final Fantasy yourself, Peppermint, the Magitech engines first appeared in FF VI (my favourite of the series). Can't wait to see more!

Impressive and funny at the same time - i even find it convincing and euh realistic. Great job!
