Here's the BIG Thor post that I promised for installment #11; most of the main characters are featured; I will make Sif, Professor Erik Selvig, Frigga, and Heimdall sometime in the near future.

Everything else was either made by me or modified LEGO pieces.

Wow, you really did an excellent job on Odin's headgear, the other customs are well one also, but the Odin fig really stands out among this batch. Great job as always tin7!

I can only imagine the stress and trial & errors that went into Odin's helm. Came out very nice.

Thank you so much! I'm happy that you like my figs. Plus you always comment to give feedback; many people don't comment, I don't understand how this topic has 120 views, but only 2 comments.

Thank you for your comments to Omi, much appreciated! Actually; the Odin helmet didn't take much trial and error, nor did it give me much stress. It just took a lot of pre-planning and many, many days of work. The helmet was made in parts.

Wow, that's some spectacular work, I'm eagerly looking forward to the film!

I think they're all up to your usual exceptional quality but like the others I have to admire the figure of Odin the most.

I've been dying to do my own for a while, but I really doubt that my sculpting skills are up to the challenge of his helmet!

What part did you use for Gungnir? It looks to me like the two-pronged Pharoah's staff:

I had planned to use BrickForge's Elven Spear (in gold):

I'm not sure if it appeals to you, but I thought it was actually a fairly similar facsimile of the movie prop.

I'd really appreciate any sculpting tips you might have for the helmet.

I had thought of starting with a BF Battle Helmet as a base and building it up with Games Workshop Green Stuff.

All praise to the Allfather!

(Haha, I even posted on a Wednesday, how fitting! )

PS: does Thor use the Donald Blake name in the film?

Actually, both BrickForge's Elven Spear and the Pharaoh Staff can become great Gungnir with some modification. Try taking the tip of the BF Elven Spear and sticking it in the hole at the top of the Pharaoh Staff.

As for the helmet, I believe the BF Dwarven Helmet works better as a base, and then you can add to it. However, make it in little parts; don't try to make the entire helmet all at one go; make the sides first, let the green stuff set; then make the back, then the horns, etc. Also, Odin has 2 helmets in the film; so you've got a choice on which one to make; I made the more complicated one.

Wow. All of these are just ridiculously epic...

You know I'm not surprised by that. I think that over the period of time that you work with sculpey, that you develop the knack for it that you can pull it off with first try. And I'm like that too with othr things. Most people will look at a character and be like "yeah totally impossible to make", and we go "yeah i can do that no problem".

And yeah I feel ya on the comments. :/
