iamded Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 My other major concern is the deal with the crow. So far, we've only seen dark figures with wands and balms (not bombs). No crows here. I can gather several solutions for this:A) The crow was conjured by a Demon Legion to do his bidding and, well, failed. Maybe that's why it fled and did not stay to finish the job? B) A Demon Legion has a wicked cool crow costume C) Horace is lying. D) We're being premature in our assumptions and maybe we should wait a night or two to see if the crow comes back. Just some things off the top of my head Though, I don't particularly believe C), but I'm not going to rule it out. It seems odd how vivid his description is, like it could be a picture from his psychological mind. Maybe I'm reading too far into it. We have the facts, but what I want to know is what do we do if we don't see a crow again? Yeah. A, B and D have all occurred to me. I'm not sure which one it could be though. (A) seems most likely, as it's clear the Crow looked evil. None of us look evil. Though I guess if one of us had a sickle, we might. That's kind of besides the point though, as none of us are a crow. (B) is another possibility. I've said it before and I'll say again, I'm telling the truth about this. Just relaying what happened. But I understand why people don't trust my word. If I were one of you, I sure wouldn't. As much as I'd like someone else to see Mr Crow to verify my claims, I wouldn't want anyone to suffer at the hands of it and it's brutal sickle. It's a very scary looking thing, you know. It's also occurred to me that if the Crow is another method of attacking for the Demon Legion, they could hold it back until you guys don't trust me, and have me convicted. Then they could have the Crow make a triumphant return, to rub it in...
Shadows Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I understand why people don't trust my word. If I were one of you, I sure wouldn't. I think I'd be suspicious of anyone who did trust it at this point, since we have no evidence either way. As a general rule, I don't trust anyone who tries to be too trusting early on, only scum and investigators have enough information to do that, and even investigators can be wrong. That said, I think your story is possible. I've certainly seen crows in our world before and they've always been evil, trying to eat my lovely crops and smoking cigars and stuff.
Hinckley Posted March 18, 2011 Author Posted March 18, 2011 Vote tally Lauren Lamb (Zepher): 14 votes (def, WhiteFang, Eskallon, Rick, TinyPiesRUs, iamded, Quarryman, I Scream Clone, Dragonator, Shadows, Walter Kovacs, Rufus, CorneliusMurdock, Ricecracker) Non-voters: 7 (Scouts, badboytje88, Fugazi, Lord Arjay, Zepher, Inconspicuous, Professor Flitwick) Lauren Lamb has been convicted and the day is over. Mod note: Since some of you like to find clues in pictures and jokes in clues no matter how hard I try to be clear, I'll no longer be trying to be clear. As Marcellus the Monk was finishing reconstructing the gallows, Lauren Lamb was brought to the village square by her accusers, once again being Helen Hippo and Edgar Elephant. Everyone knew that Lauren Lamb was one tough cookie and wouldn't be going quietly. Before anyone knew what was happening, Lauren Lamb had thrown Edgar Elephant to the ground and began attacking Helen Hippo. "You horrible bitch! How'd you manage to convince them all to vote for me?" Lauren growled right before biting Helen's face. The two assertive women squared off with their weapons of choice. Lauren Lamb had her lawnmower and Helen Hippo was ready to rake the lawn of the village square with Lauren's dead body. Nobody knew how, but suddenly Lauren Lamb was wielding a torch. She charged at Helen Hippo determined to send her back to a pile of bones and ashes. Helen had no desire to burn to death again, so she jacked Lauren in the throat with the rake. Lauren fell to the ground and accidentally lit herself on fire. As suddenly as the torch had appeared, a barrel of gun powder appeared. Thinking quickly, Helen pushed the burning Lauren into the barrel... ... which quickly and violently exploded. When the smoke cleared, the confused villagers found no trace of Lauren Lamb. They spoke amongst each other about the odd events and stared at the scorched ground where it had all occurred. "Sorry I had to resort to violence, everyone." Helen Hippo apologized, "She used the B-word. Swearing is not proper behavior for a cute and adorable animal." "Tell that to Dr. Fuckwit, bitch," someone called out from the crowd... _____________________________ Day Three is officially over. Please get your Night Actions in as soon as possible.
