Big Cam Posted June 27, 2011 Author Posted June 27, 2011 One other thing you can do is right click and open in a new tab. True, but that's an additional step that shouldn't be required. Until M$ gets their head out of........ Well anyway, I've moved onto chrome, and for anyone else, the compatibility button seems to do wonders. Quote
HighFlyer Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Ok, so let's say I have 1 tab open (I am on Windows 7). I click a link on any Eurobricks topic, and that opens a new tab for that link. Good. However, it also directs me to whatever that link was, in the current tab I had originally open. So that means I have 2 tabs open, with both the same web-pages on each. It's not a huge problem, just a little frustrating. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone known how to fix it? Thanks! Quote
Big Cam Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 Time to start using Google Chrome. Read this topic, I brought this up before. Quote
HighFlyer Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 (edited) Thanks!! EDIT: I hit ALT, then clicked Tools on the menu that popped up. Then I pressed Compatability View, and my problem was solved! Edited October 16, 2011 by HighFlyer Quote
HighFlyer Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I downloaded IE9 and also had problem with inserting links. The solution for this problem was to turn on compatability mode (thanks for the tip Siegfried): 1) press the ALT -key 2) On the Tools menu that appear, click Compatabiliyt mode 3) Done Thanks!! Quote
