mephistopheles Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 It's great to see the progress. You have gone a long way. Congrats for everything! This is very motivational and inspiring!
Sered Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Amazing, just amazing. Other words are unuseful.
PsyKater Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Wow, congratulations! Did not imagine that the castle would become so big. Very great!
Bob De Quatre Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 It's fantastic! You built some of the windows with minifig legs, if I'm not mistaken?
kibosh Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Stunning. Absolutely stunning. And your photography skills are excellent as well!
Redhead1982 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Your work is fantastic! I'd love to see it in person.
maydayartist Posted January 17, 2013 Author Posted January 17, 2013 You built some of the windows with minifig legs, if I'm not mistaken? Yes that's right, Thank you all for your feedback. Here is another picture of the whole layout done with better light and without a room around. Phil
kabel Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 What else to say except, awesome. I'm totally dumbstruck by this!
ZCerberus Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Good work! It needs more pirates though!
Captain Coconut Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Every time I check the progress on this project I am inspired. Simply amazing!
rpmac91 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Wow, this is...Amazing! The Castle looks awesome. One of my favorite dioramas/mocs.
kabel Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Good work! It needs more pirates though! Well, this moc and the whole goh action actually took me away from pirates. Before this moc I didn't own a single castle minifig. Now my shelfs are flooded with them and I don't have much time for anything else beside goh anymore!
Emma Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Wow! This is beautiful. The wall textures, the trees, the landscaping, the detail, the whole thing, all amazing. This is a masterpiece
TheLegoDr Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 This is amazing. I didn't know what to expect I think. This is overwhelming. You have a lot of patience and ROOM to do this MOC. I don't think I'd be able to fit all of this in my LEGO room and I have a large area. Keep up the great work. I love the scale and how everything is brick-built.
Vindicare Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Wow! That castle is fantastic! You are just blowing everyone else who've made a medieval diorama out of the water. I don't even know what to say on these updates anymore. I can't manage to pick up my jaw on the floor.
Zaterdag Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 This is honestly one of the most amazing MOC's I've ever seen. Absolutely fantastic job! I'm sorry if this was asked earlier but where in the world did you get all those parts?!
Balthasar Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Majestic layout! The castle beats my expectations.
de Gothia Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 It´s such a beauty! Some questions. How did you do the roof to the round tower and how is it attched to the tower? The windows with dk gray tiles around them, how are they made?
Legonardo Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 inspirational. this project was one of the things that got me really interested in LEGO, I'm pleased with how its turning out
Kayne Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I'm with Legonardo here....this is amazing and is exactly the sort of project that brought me out of the Dark Ages Great job on this! Keep it going!
draganb Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Awesome and inspiring as usual. I have one question though. What parts did you use to make that window on the tower (the one that looks like a cross)?
Bob De Quatre Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Awesome and inspiring as usual. I have one question though. What parts did you use to make that window on the tower (the one that looks like a cross)? It's minifig legs
Artifex Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Absolutely FANTASTIC, maydayartist! Just AWESOME! Thanks so much for sharing the whole building process with us!
Maxim I Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Wow, I remember the first time I saw this, it looks so long ago now! This is just amazing!!!! Breathtaking!
