Bregir Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I said earlier that the house looked a little cartoon-ish, but seeing it amongst the others really helps. It doesn't look out of place at all to me! May the Lego be with you! Bregir
maydayartist Posted April 15, 2012 Author Posted April 15, 2012 Alright. Now after all the "non-hill" builds be ready I have taken some nice pictures through all 5 chapters. Have fun @mods I hope the amount and the size of two of them is ok? Let me know if its not.
kabel Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 oh my phil, this whole thing looks just absolutely stunning!! Can't look enough at your pictures its just too beautiful!!
AwesomeStar Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) My word, it's just too beautiful! I don't know if you're a father, Phil, but I know for sure that when I was a kid I would have loved my dad to have built me something like this. It's like a whole world on a table, just waiting for an imaginative child (or grown-up!) to break out the minifigs and embark on legendary adventures. I can't wait to see it all completed, but these photos are more than enough for me right now.. -A.S. Edited April 15, 2012 by AwesomeStar
The Joker1 Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Wow this is quite possibly the most amazing LEGO thing I have ever seen. It truely is beautiful.
Venunder Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) Words seem inadequate to describe this MOC. I am new to Eurobricks and have learned many new building techniques from what you have posted maydayartist. I particularly liked the Bonfire in the campsite. The Conifer trees and the Willow. The Windmill is amazing. The Roof details for all the buildings and not least the lanscaping in general. I hope my future MOC's will come close to your standard. Edited April 15, 2012 by Venunder
Abu Dun Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 After following the entire thing from the beginning, I knew it was going to be great. But, maydayartist, you have just blown me completely away. Everything looks so natural and in tune with the overall scene that I'm utterly speechless. And you haven't even finished it yet You, sir, absolutely deserve the 'artist' in your nick, because nobody, not even those without a glimpse of knowledge could deny that what you are creating is, indeed, a piece of art - and the very finest at that Also, I hope the delivery you expect will fulfill your standards and I'm sure it'll greatly supplement any of your creations, those in the present and the future.
Balthasar Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Marvelous, just marvelous! These photo's show so much skill, taste and dedication.. Unbelievable what you managed to create here. Thanks a lot for sharing!

Calanon Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 I've been silently looking at this topic since you made it, I don't think I've posted once but this landscape is simply great. It's quite inspiring, keep up the good work.

Teh Stud Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Everything is awesome. Could you post a photo of the entire layout? Thank you!
train_nut Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Simply amazing! I have nearly all the 'significant' castle sets, but missing the creativity and talent (which you truly exhibit). Well done. Call me if you ever wanted to sell it! ; )
The Blue Brick Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 My own words can't describe how monstrous and stunning this is. Absolutely amazing.
Tazmaniac Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 @mods I hope the amount and the size of two of them is ok? Let me know if its not. As much as I love the images could you resize them , especially seeing the amount of traffic this thread receives it will help to stop the site getting sluggish. Great work though!
LegoPohm Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Love this build and enjoy returning to see how it is going. Cracking stuff.
Vindicare Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Everything is awesome. Could you post a photo of the entire layout? Thank you! We've asked, begged and pleaded for an overall shot of the build so far. He's being a big meanie and denying us. Those teaser pics will have to tide you(and everyone else) over till he's done. Which better be soon!
maydayartist Posted April 20, 2012 Author Posted April 20, 2012 As much as I love the images could you resize them ... Done
soccerkid6 Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I can't even imagine building something this big, a very inspirational project All the detail you put into the landscaping is incredible, looking forward to seeing the castle section
Palathadric Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 You must be incredibly patient to keep going on with this work for so long and perfecting each detail. I am most impressed.
ti_jay007 Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Very, very impressive! Wish I had that much bricks :)
