I vote for "Brickthing's Banner"

Because there is the only one with the millenium Falcon !

More of that I like the black style, with just darth vador in the middle...it's light, clear, I like it !

(honestly there are all so good, with many qualities, but it was asking me to choose one ... )

They're all good and I'm glad they will be rotated, but for me Rufus' , as it takes in all the films and CW, so reflects the inclusiveness of the forum best...

I voted for Brickthing's banner, its a perfect colour, not too bright or distracting, and the little TIE and Falcon in the background.

(I was going to vote for Def's Banner 2 because of the brilliant Darth Maul but in the end my vote went to Brickthing.)

Some really great works here and in the end it came down 2 for me. LuxorV's Banner 3 and Rufus's both really caught my eye with a nice mix of set's and minifigs.

Finally I voted for Rufus' Banner because I liked the minifigs used better.

A little late to the party, but I just added a new choice:

I voted for LuxorVs banner (3). I think it's the best because it shows more than only one SW episode or scene. There is OT, PT, TCW in it and it looks better than the others.

All banners look great, but Clone'O'Patra's for example isn't actual enough and looks a bit old because of the yellow skins. Scout's banner is too one-sided (battle of hoth all well and good, but I want more diversity ).

My second choice would be Rufus' banner.

So many nice banners . My favorite, however, and the one I voted for is LuxorV's second banner. It's a tranquil scene without clutter, and I really like that scene from the movies. It makes me think of the end music from episode VI, which is one of my favorites, such a happy song! (I even had it as the ending theme at my wedding ).

I voted for Brickthing's banner since it's simple, yet effective with the mug of Vader front and center. I also like the EB logo's star color the best in this one.

It was definitely a hard choice, all designs were great (I liked how the SW mods have switched them out for the past few months). Some close runner-ups were Luxor's third and Rufus'. I also liked Scouts a lot, but it's a little too busy for me, as well as unbalanced. I would've liked it more if there were less speeders on the right side and maybe an AT-AT on the left. There's just too much going on on the right side. Just my two cents.

Anyways, it's cool that so many Fellows and staff helped out with this, it just goes to show what a great community we have here.

I certainly understand that opinion, though I just thought classic-style SW was being left out. Although it's all fleshie these days and has been since 2004, this Star Wars forum and so the blog as well include all facets of LEGO SW including the classic stuff, even though it's become a 'relic of the past.' I thought the old-style sets and figs should get a little time in the spotlight, although it certainly isn't a banner that represents the entire blog.

All of these banners are great for different purposes, but I feel Rufus' banner makes the best 'default,' so to speak. Rufus' banner nicely balances all of the areas of LEGO SW, as well as just looking awesome as a design piece. Judging based on best representation of this forum and the blog as a whole, Rufus' banner clearly wins in my book.

I chose Rufus's because I like Fett on the right, and how the figs on the right are posed with their 'sabers going in both directions. I also like how Maul's light-saber is the background for the text.

I voted for LuxorV's Banner 3, because it has the Clone Wars minifigs and also includes my favorite - Kit Fisto. I also like the lights colors and the positioning. The only thing I'd change is the color of the sign "Uniting Lego Star Wars Fans", so that it is seen better.

This was a difficult decision as all of them are very good for different reasons. We needed an 'All of them' choice.

Ultimately I voted for def's second banner. I like the simple looks of it, and the Maul fig ties in nicely with the upcoming LEGO box art.

I have voted for def's first banner, although I really like Rufus's.

Background is perfect, and I don't know why I like Luke Jedi minifigure so much (It's similiar to my sigfig ).

I think it would look great as banner and in signature, since color scheme looks really good and I believe it can fit

anywhere.

My vote goes to Rufus. To my eye, his banner is very nicely balanced and the Darth Maul lightsaber idea is pure genius.

I understand what you mean and that you wanted to make a "nostalgic" banner. But personally, I think I see enough old-styled LSW banners every day, as I am a moderator on Imperium der Steine...

I voted for Def's Banner 2 as the contrast of the Prequel and original trilogy's is really good to look at. The actual backgrounds of the banner work really well along with the bursting effect from the logo. However I do have to say, they are all brilliantly done and deserve recognition.

While I loved all of the entries, I voted for Rufus's banner because it most effectively tied together the entire star wars series (ep 1, clone wars, ep v & vi) with an awesome idea for the text backdrop.

I love all the banners, but I ended up choosing LuxorV's first banner. I chose it because it had the Tie Advanced and the X-Wing featured, which are two of my personal favorite ships from the original films. I also chose it because it's very well designed, with some interesting effects. Kudos to you, LuxorV.

I chose Def's banner 1. Endor is my favorite scene in Star Wars, and the banner is very well done and very clean.

In my opinion, it represents everything: PT, OT, CW, LEGO minifigs, LEGO sets, regular and UCS. Design-wise, it's well balanced and I like the colours and overall thingy.

I voted for Brickthing's banner because it was yummy. They're all fantastic, though!

I just want to comment, though, on mine. I agree that it's unbalanced, it could use an AT-AT in the Empire's side, but mine wasn't built and ready for photography, so I had to drop that. Maybe in a revised banner

Also, the reason why I only focused on the Battle of Hoth and not just a summarization of SW is because I made it with the idea that these banners would be put on a cycle, whether it would be daily or seasonal.
