jaster Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Hi, y'all. I am a new member. I used to lurk here all the time, but finally decided to register because I missed out on the container raffle and do not want to miss out on other cool events that y'all have on this website. I am mostly active on flickr and I write for the popular blag "tweeaffect". I like to build North American trains, but I do not care for steam locomotives. Outside of Lego, I enjoy cycling (my bicycle is my primary form of transportation) and learning about German, specifically its grammar and how it has changed over time. I am from Ohio, which is a state in everyone's favorite country, the United States of America. That is all, I suppose. Quote
stacker9000 Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Jaster... from COLTC? Glad to see another Ohioan join in! Welcome! Quote
jaster Posted March 22, 2011 Author Posted March 22, 2011 Jaster... from COLTC? Glad to see another Ohioan join in! Welcome! Yes, I probably should have mentioned that I am an active (albeit not due-paying) member of COLTC. In real life people call me "Matt" or "Matthew". Quote
peterab Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Hi, y'all. I am a new member. Welcome along, can we expect a series of different coloured box cars being revealed? Quote
jaster Posted March 24, 2011 Author Posted March 24, 2011 Welcome along, can we expect a series of different coloured box cars being revealed? No, we cannot. I would be (more of) an attention whore to cross post them here, three weeks after uploading the pictures to flickr. Quote
dhaas06 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 (edited) Well if it isn't Flickr's favorite buffer-snob, Jaster! I love your work and have stalked Swoofty and your photo streams for a few years, and you'll be glad to know that your passionate buffer education opened my eyes to the continental differences. I have since adjusted all of my NA rolling stock and I can proudly declare that I've been buffer-free for a year now. Some could say you're a patriot. Edited March 24, 2011 by dhaas06 Quote

I am glad that someone else has subscribed to my dogma. Quote
