Posted March 22, 201113 yr After a long hiatus due to the fact that being a student is quite prohibitive of extracurricular hobbies both financially and temporally, I've somehow managed to have gotten back to MOCing a few weeks ago and this (and another building) is the result of that. Thought I'd jump start my resumption of MOCing by joining a Lego forum :) As is usually the case for me, I chose not to give too much attention to the exterior and instead focus on detailing the interior as much as possible. I'm so far satisfied with the result... Click on the thumbnail for more pictures.
March 22, 201113 yr Great job on the interior. Very nice. What is that purple thing the chef is cooking?

March 22, 201113 yr Author awesome details. love the bar Thanks. :) I also think the wine bar ended up turning out quite well, I didn't think much of it while the building was in its earlier stages but I'm glad I didn't scrap it.
March 22, 201113 yr Welcome back from your hiatus! Are those 1x2 white tiles from a pickabrick wall near you?
March 22, 201113 yr Author Welcome back from your hiatus! Are those 1x2 white tiles from a pickabrick wall near you? They were... I bought two cupfuls of them in, eh what, 2008? I haven't seen them recently.
March 22, 201113 yr They were... I bought two cupfuls of them in, eh what, 2008? I haven't seen them recently. Thanks! I had a feeling those were a PaB item. They must be discontinued because I havent seen them recently. Nice details in your MOC.
March 22, 201113 yr Excellent MOC 'Solstafir', everything is white......you could name it "The White Room - Bar & Grill". I too like the bar, which is a very nice design.....plenty of room for setting up a few rounds eh ? Great work and Brick On 'Solstafir' !
March 22, 201113 yr Another well done build Solstafir! I love how you captured this busy bar scene with all the details you'd expect to see in a real one. Great job once again!
March 22, 201113 yr Another great MOC Solstafir The size of the floor plan allowed great details without having them cramped. Again, very nice work
