Not bad. Not bad at all. My favorite features are the shoulder plates and the legs, but the guns are interesting, too. And you're already ahead of me; I haven't tried mecha yet!

Welcome to EB!

a little too colorful. but your design is impressive considering the original mechs from life on mars were not that great to begin with.

i prefer mechs to be of uni or duo colors at most. otherwise it will look like it was created from junk parts, like a frankenstein creation from an auto junkyard instead of a newly minted benz or boeing jet from a highly skilled specialized factory.

to elaborate - the model has blue, sand blue, red, yellow, pink, and non symmetrical parts (the legs for eg). and too many colorful greeblies bits. greeblies should only be shades of grey imo.

ahhh... life on mars :-$

not very popular though... i'm surprised some one even build mocs with the these sets...

it's nice indeed *sweet*

This looks odd. It reminds me off the Power Ranger vehicles that would join together to make one badly colored mecha which would then be kicked into a cardboard building. :-| :-D

I like the design and the weapons are looking good but like others have said, less will be more. I don't like mecha with only two or three colors but neither do I like them with 10 and seemingly no pattern or reasoning behind the design.

My advice is to drop all the yellow, red, sand red, trans neon green and possibly the black parts from the model. That still leaves you with blue, sand blue, both grays, the smoke canopy, trans orange and if you want to keep them the trans red globes. Of course you may not have the parts needed to do so. :-/

The shoulder design looks good, bulky and armored but not too much. The legs a a good size but I am not sure if posing works as well as the EXO force type does.

I think it would look better in red/sand red but with the aliens teal and blue/white the blue/sand blue looks better. Toss in a human pilot and it could go either way. LoM has by far some of the worst color cominations ever and almost no two sets (alien) matched. They did however introduce great sand colors and some nice printed parts like those you have used.

Nice Mecha even if it has bad colors.

Thanks for all your great comments *sweet*

Supernova is my pushing force to build this MOC ( since it is really cool) but I don't want to build a Mech using my great starwars sets( xwing, snowspeeder), so I decided to use these 2 LOM sets.

I admitted that LOM color scheme is difficult to match with others, and the ball-joint corrodinance took me a lot of time for building this set (total design and building time: 4 hours) .

This is very nice. I like it a lot. It is good as the weaponery doesn't dwarf the model, and nor does it look like too little, just the right balance. I also love the way you have anothe martian controlling one of the guns, as it is a huge mech, I think it is right to assume that no one man (or martian X-D ) can operate it alone. A job well done all around, I look forward to seeing more of your work.
