March 28, 201113 yr Click here to take the survey !Thanks in advance from TLG! The link just takes me to the Lego homepage. Any tips on finding the survey? TIA :)
March 28, 201113 yr Hmmm, I seem to have gone directly to the survey. It took less than five minutes to take it, as well.
March 28, 201113 yr I think it goes to the lego site if you already finished the survey. I guess they want everyone to do it only once.
March 28, 201113 yr I think it goes to the lego site if you already finished the survey. Yep, that's the way it works now that the survey is no longer hosted on the Kids' Inner Circle.
March 28, 201113 yr DONE!!! When asked about why I would recommend Lego, I used it as an opportunity to explain thats its because of their high quality, and said to please keep to those standards, and stay away from the Chinese stuff. I gave them some positive remarks too on what they do right.
March 28, 201113 yr That was very short. It seems they just want to know if we buy other brands as well...
March 28, 201113 yr I also just did the survey and agree that it is very short indeed. Hard to guess what information they are really after. To me the survey seems a bit limited to get proper information out of. But then again I am not the one needing the information.
March 28, 201113 yr Hmm...Very short survey..... I think they just wanna see how many of us buy other off-brand sets.
March 28, 201113 yr What's a LUG? Couldn't see it here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1188 so thought I'd ask. Yes... I'm a noob. :)
March 28, 201113 yr What's a LUG? Couldn't see it here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1188 so thought I'd ask. Yes... I'm a noob. :) LEGO Users' Group. It's basically the term for your local organized AFOL community. For instance, the one near Washington, D.C. is called WAMALUG (Washington Metropolitan Area LEGO Users' Group). LUGs tend to have occasional meetings. They sometimes will do collaborative builds for LEGO conventions and events like Brickfair or Brickfest, and also sometimes build models for display in local LEGO stores. Also, there are benefits to membership-- I know one person who found some Series 3 Collectible Minifigures fairly early bought several boxes to share with their fellow LUG members. LEGO also offers LUGs bulk bricks for community building projects. Can't provide too much more info than that since I'm not in a LUG myself. But if you have a LUG closeby, I thoroughly recommend checking it out. The best database I know of for local LUGs is LUGNET, but their Links section seems outdated. Perhaps someone can recommend a more up-to-date site to look that sort of stuff up?
March 28, 201113 yr Done. They wanted to know if I buy LEGO-like blocks made by other manufacturers - no way!
March 29, 201113 yr I completed it. Do you think that by asking other brick products, do they mean competitors products, custom vendors, or both?
March 29, 201113 yr Survey completed! Thanks CopMike for alerting us! I must admit that this time round, the survey is pretty short.
March 29, 201113 yr Done! Added a bit of cheek in there too. Just trying draw attention to the Chinese plastic situation. Its just a deep concern of mine.
March 29, 201113 yr I said 9/10 likeliness of recommending it to friends, and then went on to explain that I can't say 10/10 because of the cheap chinese plastic.
March 29, 201113 yr Done. Although I would have welcomed specific opportunities to comment on more than the usual "would you recommend" "how much do you buy" type stuff.
March 29, 201113 yr Done. Nice easy survey. I wish my city had a LUG. Maybe if TLG put a LEGO store on the strip, it might help to motivate one....
April 7, 201113 yr Completed but like many others I think that the survey should of been longer with more questions concerning the relevant issues that are about. I also mentioned about the chinese bricks, albiet I didn't say chinese I just said I bought Train track from a different maker because it is cheaper than there own.
