But now against good teams, we are powerfull and can be deadly !! Teams don't know who can score since usually (and like in '98) strikers do not score but infielders do !! Ribery has been the real "revelation" of that team (no wonder since he played so well this season with Marseille) !! And Zidane finally made a great game (I am happy because he used to be such a fantastic player !!). I am sure we can defeat Brazil !! All the teams that met Brazil were either impressed, scared or what have you !! France will not be all that, the only thing it will be is conquerous !! I am confident that the past will repeat itself hehe !! I just hope that Malouda or Sylvestre will not be on the field though, or you know who will penetrate like crazy !! And France will meet Germany in Finals *y* The more I see France upgrade their level, the more I think that this is soooo possible ;-) !! *yoda* Quote

I remember us beating germany 5-1 then struggiling against greece a few weeks later *wacko* Anyway if we beat portugal and france beat brazil then that would set up a great semi final and one that not many would have believed could happen. I think that france has finally found a way how to play, and two people are in fact responsable for that: Zizou and Vierra. His will may be strong but is his body up to it? i guess we will find out soon enough. Zidane centers and Vieira heads it in. This gives France a huge morale boost and the opposite to Spain. So, if there was a competent referee, would the same have happened? No. Quote

Many agreed that it was not a free kick to france and that spain were very unlucky. Oh i agree with you sne, tv would help to cut down on play acting. It really annoys me when i see a player cheat and in big matches like were now seeing it robs us fans of seeing which team is better. Back in the world cup of 2002 a turkey player kicked the ball at the brazilian rivaldo, tv cleary showed it hitting rivaldo in the belly/cheast yet he threw himself down holding his face and the turkey was given a straight red card. Now had they used tv footagae the ref would of seen rivaldo trying to cheat and sent him off. To me anyone who cheats in a game should have a straight red card and if tv was used this would greatly help the ref to get things right. Quote

Football is such a great vector of humanism, brotherhood and what have you, those racist comments should be banned forever !! What did the FIFA do ? put a ridiculous bill on him that he will never pay, Spain will on the other hand !! And well played you FIFA morons putting a Spanish ref for Brazil/France *y* (especially that was the stupid ref who excluded an Italien for an imaginary foul and gave Italy that famous penalty kick :-| ).
