Brickdoctor Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 If we do get to see the Eta's they will only be Jedi ships right, not like in SWBFII where everyone could use them. Don't phase out V-19's or Y-wings, they should be added into the next release of 'Sith' seeing squadrons of ARC's, V-Wings, Y-Wings, and V-19's in a space battle would immediately bring up OT Battle of Endor X-Wings, A-Wings, Y-Wings, and B-Wings squadrons. Wookieepedia lists standard complement of Eta-2s for a Venator as over a hundred; I'm sure there aren't that many Jedi in the Order. (although, admittedly, if memory serves me correctly, that info is from the DK Crossections book, and we all know how accurate that is)In any case, the Alpha-3 is the V-19's replacement (starfighter) and the ARC-170 is the Y-wing's replacement (heavy fighter/bomber) in Sith. I know all four aren't concurrent but the Republic could have been more like BF by having more than 2 types at a time i.e. Fighter:ARC Bomber:Y-wing Interceptor/light starfighter: V-wing Escort/Heavy starfighter: V-19, This would line up with the Rebels ships in my previous post, as well as the imperial TIE Fighter, TIE Bomber, TIE Interceptor, and TIE Defender. By having 4 ships with different roles rather than 2 ships with 2 roles they could be more efficient. Sorry for this (probably) off topic, On topic I hope all 4 appear in TCW side by side. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 (edited) I'm not saying they can't all be in an episode at the same time, because obviously in the process of transitioning to the newer fighters the cruisers would still be carrying some of the older craft (one of the things that really bugged me was that the ARC-170 was never properly introduced, it just showed up in the show), I'm just saying that they shouldn't keep the Y-wing. Eventually that ship needs to be phased out in favor of the ships seen in Sith. EDIT: And I doubt this is off-topic - we're discussing what we want to see in S4 in the S4 topic. Well we don't see the Y-wing or V-wing in 'Sith' but they might still be in use, the Empire don't develop TIE's straight away so may still need more than just V-wings, and ARC's. They weren't in the film but they could still have been used, the V-wing and ARC's aren't direct replacements fore their roles anyway. Quote
sok117 Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Personally, I hope the y-wing doesn't phase out any time soon, and if they do, I hope they get a proper send off, with a little nod to their future use in the rebellion. And I'm betting on those Headhunters seen in the trailer to take on the position of the V-19's, you know, just to screw the cannon up a bit for giggles. I'm still anxious to see the story of Mon Calamari, and ackbar. My guess is that the next OT characters to make debuts are going to be cantina people, Garundian (elephant man) or maybe Ponda or Dr. Evazen, someone recognizable, but not clearly distinguishable. Next big name though might be Lando, it seems plausible if they wanna mess up with the cannon. I guess we could always see more jedi, I'm hoping for Voolif, at least I think thats his name, the shitsvanian from 03 Quote

He has always seemed like a really cool Jedi ever since we had a glimpse of him in the 03 series. It would be nice for the to do a story similar to that of the Hypori one from the 03 series. Just a few Jedi outrageously outnumbered by droids and the General. They could really get deeper into how the war is affecting Jedi other than the main ones. Also, K'Kruhk would be neat to see in TCW. But I doubt they will visit on old characters if they would rather make up new Jedi. It is kinda upsetting, but honestly, who DOESN'T want that new Besalisk Jedi in minifig form! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Well we don't see the Y-wing or V-wing in 'Sith'. You mean the V-19? I'm sure they're still in use, but in the smaller fleets or for things like escorting freighters. Not in the big battle groups that the characters of CW seem to always have access to. If they can obtain a stealth ship that evidently uses technology equal to or surpassing the extremely rare technology on the Scimitar, they can update their starfighters from one mass-produced model to another. If everything goes nice, I'm hoping a destroyed Y-Wing (or at least a partially ruined intstruction manuel) winds up on a desolate planet, setting it up for a Rebel force to find it and implement it's design, or soemthing similar. If they can obtain a stealth ship that evidently uses technology equal to or surpassing the extremely rare technology on the Scimitar, they can update their starfighters from one mass-produced model to another. About the stealth technology- again, if everything goes nice, I'm hoping the prototype stealth ship and it's plans are also destoyed, but the rumors of it's victory against Trench reach Thrawn, keeping the canon of Spector of the Past. The technology or just the idea? If the technology was available to Thrawn, then his cloaked ships wouldn't have been blinded whenever they activated the cloaking shield. Quote

Jedi master Brick Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Dave Filoni better be right about there being no sent hall! I hape we see a proper battle episode, or Grevius kills a lot of gungans Quote
commanderneyo Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 There's a new season 4 preview comiing out of SWW (Star Wars Weekends)! Terrible quality but better than nothing! "Suck it up shiny!" -Clone Trooper Comet to C-3PO Quote
-JD- Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Holy friggin' moly! That is the most epic trailer for SW... ever! The battle scenes look far better, and Rex is beautiful with his new helmet! So yeah... Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted May 23, 2011 Author Posted May 23, 2011 I have not seen any Phase I armor in any of the Season 4 trailers so I guess the whole season will be Phase 1.5/2 right from the very start. And as the series nears RoTJ I'm getting more and more excited and curious at the same time on how will everything transition into the EpIII events and how the series will deal with Ahsoka's and Rex's fates. I assume you mean RotS I whole-heartedly agree. I can't wait for more familiar things from Ep.III being thrown in. I personally hope we see more of the snail droids and massive tri-droids. I wonder if they will do the same thing as CW and have a prequel of sorts to the Battle of Coruscant. Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 It looks better than before. But Clone wars trailers are misleading. We should get a 5th series (It was planed for over 100 episodes). Rex's helmet is awseome, this comfirms TLG will have to make a new mould. Quote
commanderneyo Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 (edited) Also I forgot to mention in my post with the trailer, but Dave Filoni and co at SWW have stated that the title for this season will be "Battle Lines" thought you might like to know. Here are some new stuff I gathered from this trailer: Count Dooku will ally himself with some species. Anakin Skywalker, like Ahsoka Tano, will fight in the Battle of Mon Calamari and they will both wear scuba suits. Anakin will yet again say "This isn't going to be easy". Clone Trooper Comet appears and says "Suck it up shiny!" The Wolfpack will be with C-3PO. There will be a Republic invasion of some planet. The 327th (Bly's legion) will appear (?) I say this because if you pause the video at 0:46, those Clones with big guns have the markings of Bly's legion. The AT-RT walkers will return. Anakin will fight Commando Droids in some mission. There will be some type of small species appearing. Captain Rex will keep the Phase 1 visor with his new helmet! Padme Amidala will be in the Battle Of Mon Calamari. Brickdoctor Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Any particular reason why this is not embedded on EB? I'm glad to see the Phase 2 troopers; it'll be nice to get them back as LEGO minifigs. (of course, that was the same thing I though back in '08 with Phase 1s, but they turned out nothing like the ones in Clones) I do hope that this invasion of Mon Calamari will be a new storyline, seeing as the clones in the '03 version were Phase 1s. I also hope the show maintains the Separatist's relationship with the Quarren and make them again fight for the CIS on Mon Calamari. Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 I bet they will kill off Fives with the current rate of main charactars being killed off. Quote
Mr Man Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 (edited) I bet they will kill off Fives with the current rate of main characters being killed off. No I think having Fives as the only remanding member of domino squad is more character building, and quite sad, it would be anti climatic to kill Him off. Maybe he's one of the clones with Fox that GL's son kills in ROTS that would be irony. Count Dooku will ally himself with some species. The Quarren Isolation League? Edited May 24, 2011 by Mr Man Quote
commanderneyo Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 The Quarren Isolation League? I'm reffering to the one at 0:11 of the video that says "The army has a new servant, Count Dooku" and he sure doesn't look like a Quarren, though I suspect he might have something to do with that arc... Quote
nex Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 (edited) Looks like all clone commanders and captains (in season 4) are getting the phase 2 helmet with a phase 1 visor. Wonder what Cody would look like. Edited May 25, 2011 by nex Quote

nex Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 We know how Cody looks like in Episode 3. They may change his appearance, though. I meant what he would look like with a phase 2 helmet with phase 1 visor. After all, Cody could have worn it before getting the finalized phase 2 helmet. Quote
minifig3 Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 (edited) Hmm. After seeing the species at 1:27 of the vid commanderneyo posted, it seems to be the specie of Tsui Choi...maybe we will see him? EDIT:Oops, not 1:27, but 1:05...sorry Edited June 13, 2011 by minifig3 Quote
