I noticed this during the first season... he wasn't troubled, angry, irrational or rebellious enough compared to his character in Episode II & III. He also appears to have more voice than most of the Jedi High Council members, there are few moments where it seems otherwise. (Mace Windu puts him in place on occasion.)

I do recall that The Clone Wars is apparently not about the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker. Maybe it should be, but as a background to some CLONE WARS, because I think he's heading in the wrong direction.

...therefore making the show non-canon, which I mentioned in my post.

I agree. The Clone Wars should be about clones. But while it's getting better, we still have Anakin and Ahsoka this, Anakin and Ahsoka that, throw in some Obi-Wan for good measure, and add some Mandos because if the fans liked one or two of them, they'll love an army of them that isn't nearly as awesome as they're supposed to be. And if you're going to say that that's what the kids like, don't forget that every five to ten year-old kid absolutely adores episodes full of politics. :sarcasm_hmpf:

I agree, the best episodes are the ones which you can see a battle or a deceent fight without Padme almost getting assainated for the 20,000th time

Looks like there is going to be another preview of Season 4 at Comic-Con this year...

See- if tCW had good writers, than the political episodes could be highly intresting. Senate Murders had the oppurtunity to be a thrilling CSI-type episode. Instead, it became a highly predictable slug-fest. I've said it once and I'll say it again- writing is tCW main flaw.

Isn't directly related to this season, but it has tidbits of information spread out in this mini-game coming out on that CWA (Clone Wars Adventures) online game. It explains the presence of Padme Amidala on Mon Calamari:

Well I think the main problem is the fact that it is written for 11 year olds. Oh and the silly square jawed animation.

Would you look at that, we got a female Mandolorian!

Nothing new there. (or maybe in CW there is - I don't remember)

Looks okay. Ahsoka's snow outfit looks like a remake of the one Padme wore in the original series.

Yeah it's new for The Clone Wars. It thought that Lucas had never approved them before though?

True. But I like it.

I'm pretty sure Lucas ahs no real control over EU. Even if he does, we've seen plenty of female Mandos.

I think he meant that as Lucas wouldn't approve of it, then he wouldn't want to have it in TCW. I think that's the point Masked Builder was making.

New teaser from SDCC. It's a trap!

I do hope the CW people don't put that line into the episodes. Yeah, it'd be an OT reference, but it's overused already.

The water effects are looking quite good, though between the camera view from inside a moving RGS and the coloring, I thought the surface of the ocean was a forest of trees.

There will also be a lot of developments with bounty hunters – or bounty hunters to be – with the return of Bossk and Boba Fett and the Clone Wars introduction of the one, the only… Dengar!

Dengar? That's unexpected. I hope they don't give him as bad a treatment as they did the former two hunters.

I hope the whole episode is as good as this clip.

Well Bobba the less said the better, but the interpretation of Bossk was quite good (aside from speaking basic).

No I was saying that we'd seen them before but never in offical Star Wars movies. And no Lucas has no control over EU.

Now we know why TLG decided to being back the Dengar minifig instead of 4-LOM or Zuckuss. They're probably planning to use him in a forthcoming CW set.

We've never seen the Mandos as a faction in the movies period, male or female. And personally I think it should've stayed that way. Giving us a whole planet full of them just ruined the mystery of the race. (not that CW was responsible for that, but it certainly didn't help by turning said planet into a peaceful metropolis)

I guess Movies was the wrong word. Maybe Lucas Arts produced? True.

If you mean female Mando in armor, then yes, I think this is a first for Lucas Arts-produced videos. But I'm not quite sure.

Well, they would still need a new CW head for him anyway, so I kind of doubt it. I don't think they are going to want to make another Slave I for young Boba and the Bounty Hunters, though they could always pick some other Bounty Hunter ship and throw them all in the set, like they did with Sugi's ship.

Exactly what I was getting at.
